i have full insurance too, i had them do a price quote for me and included the labor cost too. the nose fairing is tricky, not hard, but time consuming, becarefull when putting it back on because there are tabs that will break off if you are not careful.
 
i wish i had taken the time to do a write up back then on how to do it, i never could find a step by step instructions on here. if you need anything let me know brother, i have some extra parts laying around if you need them. i have a stock windscreen, levers, stock exhaust minor scratches, and some other stuff just can't remember.

Looks like your slider did it's job, and saved even more damage.
Been off a few bikes, and it does make you feel upset, I worry more about the bike than myself.

the slider did a pretty good job I think. and like you, I was laying on the ground and I could here my bike crashing. It was a horrible feeling.!!:banghead:

Say hello to Mr. Highside. Wouldn't be surprised it that sand didn't extend out to where you gassed it at and broke the rear.

Fix her up and keep riding w/ ur head up, everyone goes dwn sooner or later. Glad you made it through w/ no injuries! :cheerleader:
