What’s your favorite modest mod?

I have been meaning to pull the trigger
and upgrade my old scratched up fairings.

Just lean your Hayabusa over onto the the throttle side & use a rat tail file *

$7 for a can of Plastidip and sprayed the underside of my windscreen. Cheap and looks good.

Going down
-1 tooth in the front .

And Schlitz R 1 throttle mod .

Both are cheap and make a huge difference .

I now also like that region for mounting gopro , slightly different mount option for other side also pictured .

One of the best value mods is the switch over to lithium battery . This is a Shorai pictured , but there are many other brands / options to choose from . The Japanese Shorai is over 2kg lighter than the stock Yuasa battery , great weight reduction for reasonable $ and reliable performance .

Im not a fan of the factory screen.

It’s too low for my taste, and if I ride sitting close to the tank I can’t see the clocks.
For touring, racing, commuting etc any faired Busa I have has to have a double bubble screen....

Just before I put mine to bed I waxed it with super slippery Turtle Wax. The green stuff. Cause we kawi guys all know green is the fastest.

It is.....for now......

I use a wax my brother gave me which he uses for boats...it is super slick..don't know what it is called as he gives it to me out of a large barrel.
