I don't know what to say.

other than -

the site couldnt get enough to get Captain a busa,

I'm not really short on cash right now, just taking my medicine for mistakes I made years ago. I thought it was over, but I been fighting to keep the Busa for a year and a half now..... I lost the battle yesterday. I handed the keys over this afternoon and watched it go away on a flatbed.

My hopes are high for a new busa in the near future. How far out, I don't know. I'd like to get one right away, but I probably can't finance another one for several months. AND on top of this, our truck is in the shop getting a new motor put in it for the tune of $3100 that I don't have!

My spirits are high, and sending my wife&daugter to Arkansas at the end of this month for vacation, and to see her mother for probably the last time(lung cancer).

Good friend of mine Goldenchild is going to find out how much to buy my bike back in a few days. If its cheap enough, we'll pitch in and get her back, but I'm not counting on it. will see....

Thanks all for your support, and most of all..... be safe out there.
chris.
Chris... sent you a PM. Please check

Most folks piss that much away in beer on a weekend out at the club.
I kinda like the idea that my hundred bucks would help out on a Brand New Hayabusa for Chris.

anyone else?

Figure 16 beers at the bar at 3 bucks a pop, not including any tip and thats
48 bucks right there. Now if you prefer some wings and a few mix drinks then you can see that not going out one weekend for 100 people would easliy buy a new busa for the Boss man.

a 100 bucks by 100 members and bam, a brand new busa in a week.....

I'm in!!!!
Yup a very viable suggestion... (Technically Speaking) !!!

But not a lot of people will chip in mate, we all saw what happened when the board tried to get a new busa for the Cap!! I mean... there were a total of 6000+ members on the board at that time. Atleast 20% of them active/semi active. Still the busa did not meterialize for the Captain... That was shameful

yeah but I think most folks here make enough money to kick in a hundred. I seen what people do for a living and if a Military family can cough up 100 dollars I am quite sure the computer techs/lawyers/ engineers/ union workers/ business owners/ and self made entrepreneurs/
can donate for a good cause.

have a garage sale and get the junk out of the garage and you would be surprised at what we can make.
I think if just 100 people did that this weekend Chris could easliy have a new bike by Wednesday.

I'm totally ok with it mate.. materr of fact i can give over a 100. not a problem!!

well with the pm's I've received, and now what you all are saying, I probly could get something soon.

first, I don't know what to say about you all. unbelievable.

I think we may see a fully sponsored motorcycle in our near future... multiple owners, and sponsored by any of your companies... and of course Hayabusa.org will have special recognition.

what say you?
