net net after all paypal junkie fees....OK, so who gave 11 cent or $13.11?
Hey, its the reason I Became a donating member right away, and why I contributed to the bike fund. This forum has really brought me up to speed on the Bike that I love. Where the heck else could a person get all this info. The way I look at it Nothing In Life Is Free. If yah got some good info from this board, maybe making an install go better - quicker - cheaper, or got a good deal off this board, why the heck not give something back?So here is what we need to complete the project.
312 members donate $25.00 or
156 members donate $50.00 or
104 members donate $75.00 or
78 members donate $100.00 or
39 members donate $200.00 or
26 members donate $300.00 or
15 at $500 and Cache goes to the dealership and post pics tonight.
you can kinda look at it this way, for every topic you've read and learned something from cost you 25 cents, would that be a fair price? Now ask yourself, how much time and money did this board really save me? That would be a good number to donate.
Dayaum!! This guy is good with his marketing...ok how about this, everyone that viewed this post (over 1000 viewed) donate 7 bucks.
Thats one less value meal this week, 2 less beers at the bar, a medium pizza and not a large, thats making coffee at home for the next 7 days verses the convienant store!
(whataya say?)
I thought about this topic over the weekend and I took the long route to the theme park instead of the tolls, that saved me 40 bucks, I ate at home for lunch today 8 bucks saved,Dayaum!! So you making a second donation to cache's bike fund mateI thought about this topic over the weekend and I took the long route to the theme park instead of the tolls, that saved me 40 bucks, I ate at home for lunch today 8 bucks saved,Dayaum!! I made coffee at home this morning saved a buck, daycare costs 300.00 less then expected because school is starting, the phone bill is 40 dollars less then I planned, brake pads for the Busa came is 15 bucks cheaper then expected, I spent 85 euro less at the theme park then expected this weekend.
So the way I look at it, " what comes around goes around,"
I should give more often
I can make another donation but lets wait a bit and see how far off we are from the goal. I think this generous offer from all the members will go down in the record books as being the best group of motorcycle riders around. No other boards would even think about what we are trying to do here. I mean giving away a brand new Busa to someone from the Org. I mean come-on do you think any other message board would even consider it? This is what sets the people apart on this board. You know I don't know Cache personally but he seems like a pretty cool dude. I didn't know flyin swan but she seemed like a pretty cool girl. I didn't know some of the folks I sent the windscreen and dog bones to but they seemed pretty cool......Anyway my point is this, "if we have somewhere to go and BS about the motorcycle we all love then making a donation to this site/ project fund is really not asking too much is it?"I have said it before... im saying it again, this guy is good!! Totally agree with you brother... this board is like family!!!I can make another donation but lets wait a bit and see how far off we are from the goal. Lets set ourselves apart from the rest and pony up for a good cause!
There were some good stories from tht trip.Thatz what I'm talkn about !
Hey Greg, Cache had me rolln last night over the phone when he started going down memory lane reliving the moment when he was hanging out with you and your boy from Chi-town .
C'ya at the MeetnDrink !!!
Well Said Thinker!!!!!!1,000 views is a lot. If only those guys would throw in a few bucks. Unfortunately, the last 20-30 posts here are by people who already gave, or will give shortly. We need some new meat to get interested in this. I wonder if they all know that Cache is the guy doing all the work to keep this board going. I wonder if they know that he stepped in when the board was close to being shuut down PERMANENTLY. I wonder if they know how many hours a week Cache puts donates to them. I wonder if they appreciate all the great information and interaction that they get from this board. I think not, or surely they would dig a little and throw something at the cause. Sure a lot of people might hesitate when you talk about buying a guy a new Busa. Many are thinking, "shid, my Busa is 3-years old, and has this ding or that ding. I'm not buying someone a new Busa!" But come on folks. Just think of it as giving a little bit back....not a lot just a lil bit. This fund probably won't reach new Busa levels, but it might get high enough to get a used one or to provide a down payment on a new one.
So if you are reading this, and haven't done anything yet, stop waiting to see if the effort has a chance succeed. If it bombs, the money will be refunded. So how bout a lil donation for the cause.
It is supposed to be in Denver the weekend of the 20th, but I haven't seen much on it lately. Is it still on?Im in for 40, its all Ive got to spare right now. I knew there was a reason that I didn't go to the bar on sat.! Good luck on the new bike Cache, and thanks for the work you do on the board! You rock!
Hey when, and where is this meet and greet? I would like to go!
