What are all your thoughts on the "Great reset"?

For anyone curious about the "great reset" here is the bases of it The Great Reset

Its very vague in explaining exactly what they are doing but the bases I got, is trying to get almost all nations to be far-left and use Covid as a way to bring fascist ideas to everyone's door step world wide, due to financial issues during this hard time. Basically surviving off the banks, billionaires and government's (which must of us do already).

Now to be clear I'm not a tin-foil hat wearer but the "Great reset" is a little creepy. But I also see such uprising in so many countries at the moment, how are these "Elite" going to control everyone?

This was posted back in 2016 but also creepy Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better

Might I add this isn't some small organization they host some of the largest corporations and heads of states from all around the world.

Have a buddy that I call a conspiracy nut but some things we do agree on and he has been talking about basically that same thing since covid started. I know I'm feeling the stress of it all as my wife has only been able to work 2 days a week since going back to work. Luckily she has been able to get some under employment to help, me on the other hand haven't been able to hit 40 hours and still make "too much"to get under employment. Actually stressing real bad with the money issues now that Xmas is right around the corner and I'm behind on everything, even my busa is far enough behind in thinking it's time to hide it till I can catch up. Still keep hoping I'll wake up and this whole year will just be one long bad dream :banghead:. I'm just over this whole covid thing and with seeing the "numbers" going up im thinking it's not gonna be long before they start taking sitting stuff down around me again since it seems a lot of places are doing it on their own now.

Yah, people are really going to be in a tight squeeze after this.. I'm lucky since I'm essential and my GF works from home I haven't missed a single day, even when we had a lockdown but my province's is probably going to do another lock down starting tomorrow. I'm not a covid denier and I have to wear masks at work now which is fine. What scares me is what going to happen after covid with everyone's debts? And the governments debts? I already pay huge taxes I do not want to pay more.
 
I don't believe there's any conspiracy. If there was, it's been quashed. You must have heard there's a vaccine. No, just an unfortunate mistake in a lab in China. "They're going to investigate how the virus was released, Bill gates invented the virus, the virus is mixed with HIV and SARS"....shheeee=it! It's a bunch of craziness. I have a buddy who believes all that crap. Now I will have to remind him that they cured AIDS because they made a vaccine for the novel corona virus. And Bill Gates never took over the world. Insane.

Sadly its not a conspiracy its what WEF want and alot of billionaires want also, now will it ever happen I doubt it but socialism is gaining traction. I don't think covid was releases on purpose I think WEF is taking advantage of the situation to push their agenda.
 
@JeffSyh if these billionaires are making money off of the world economy, the last thing they want is a bunch of workers now depending on socialism who used to depend on earning higher salaries. There is a lot less incentive to be a worker with a higher than average income if that person is taxed to death. Why not be a grunt worker and reap the benefits of socialism instead of being a well educated person with valuable skills who only lives a marginally better lifestyle while paying for the social programs? If nobody can afford to buy things that aren't provided by the government, where is the profit in that for billionaires?
 
I can see a non existent middle class. There would still be wealthy people around to buy stuff and a slave class that makes stuff. There has to be somebody who can buy or it falls apart. The solution is be well educated and well paid but don't spend your money. Hire some of the surfs to good paying jobs and start businesses that compete with the moguls. We're too capitalist here to fall for socialism.
 
However Covid 19 came to be, it was unleashed on the entire planet and has affected the global economy on a pretty hefty scale but not into depression era levels..........yet.......

It will be with us forever and will require an annual vaccine much like the regular flu which has something like 60 strains and the WHO throws a dart at the dart board to establish which strain will be the most prevalent in a certain year.

The same will happen with Covid 19, now they'll have 2 dart boards...

Humans enjoy a good ol' fashioned conspiracy...this one is a great one to build off.

The middle class is the engine of the train-it keeps the economy moving, if the middle class stops spending and working, the train will come to a stop...right now it is moving albeit slowly as the retail economy is booming right now.

Yes very true, the great depression was technically a Reset on capitalism. The thing with WEF is they are pushing to get away from oil and gas, because they think climate change is going to be a larger impact then covid would ever be on the human race. Look at California and BC all far left and want to get rid of gas powered cars and truck by 2030-2040.

It might work in those two areas but I really can't see how a completely battery powered anything will survive a cold prairie winter...or the vast distances people travel.

What do they think will power up all these electric vehicles? Probably coal fired power plants which will be working harder and harder to meet the demand...maybe all new construction will have to have a solar roof or a wind turbine built into them...


Then I watched a documentary on the Lithium mining and how nasty that is....

I agree, but isn't wind turbines extremely costly to run and maintain and it out weighs the gains from them? I work for frieghtliner/western star and we have a few test school buses that are 100% electric we also have a a few eCasicadias driving on northamerican roads today. They have 250 mile range, 730 hp which is crazy and 80,000 GCWR but like you said Lithium the process of mining and refining is extremely harmful to the environment.
 
I am not a conspiracy theorist either, but for any of that to work they have to disarm us, which is coming with the new VP. Once everything is in place we will be good little proletariats.

Seeing as your democrats are like our liberals-this could be a reality same as it is for us...

Our liberals used the pandemic to sneak in a weapon ban on us here....we can basically own bolt action rifles and shot guns now....there are a few exceptions for semi auto rifles....for now.....

Hand guns are next on their list-they have left this up to the municipalities to ban them-it's not federal......YET!

Yup I hate posting this online but I paid some good money for a few of my rifles and now they are outlawed cause one crazy person used black market ILLEGAL guns and killed a bunch of people, now us the law abiding hunters and enthusiasts have to pay the price? Might I add I've never heard of a single report of a Conservation officer having to discharge his firearm at a person/hunter in Canada ever.

The nut who killed the reservist guarding the war memorial in Ottawa used a lever action rifle yet those weren't outlawed indicating the government is using flawed logic.

Some of my weapons were outlawed...I have a heavily modified SKS which isn't outlawed...yet...
