Iv'e always wondered how much work it is to actually strip a working sportbike down to the frame to have it chromed/painted.thinkin of rippin out the engine and sendin the frame off to get chromed via CSC
Have you seen the diamondpowersports flame sliders? They seem like they might do what you want to light up your sides, and look pretty trick at the same time.maybe some leds to acsent the sides to improve profile visibility.

I dare say, based on your sig line, you've already got one of the baddest busas around. I love carbon stuff, very purposeful.I'll be adding a Sebimoto carbon fiber fuel tank, OPP Racing carbon fiber OEM tail section and hump. Chrome plate the swing arm, and passenger pegs and rear sets. Upgrade brakes to Brembo mono-block calipers.
Well, forget my earlier post, I got bored and with rain, I went ahead and installed all I planned to do over winter already with the exception of tobin seats. So far I have gotten 16/42 sprockets, new chain, and speedohealer. I will reinstall my genmar risers and lowering links. Also, plan on a set of tobin seats. As of right now that is it, but always subject to change.

Is the labor as much as the price to chrome it, or is it not really as bad as I imagine it to be?
