Although I don't necessarily disagree with Hegseth, he certainly pissed off a lot of women by saying he will take women out of combat roles....

It's like having the horses escape only to close the door behind them, it's pretty hard to back-track a policy that has already been implemented.

I 100% agree that standards can't be lowered in order to achieve DEI....the standards MUST remain stringent.....people die if the standards lower.

I hope you're talking about agreeing with his biases about the combat worthiness of women, and not his pending appointment to the Cabinet. He is a talk show host that has expressed the following: "there are irreconcilable differences between the Left and the Right in America leading to perpetual conflict that cannot be resolved through the political process". Advocating for actual civil war within the United States? This a statement from a proposed Secretary of Defense? He has also proclaimed that Islam is not a religion of peace.
Trump's bravado has always been prominent and now we experience him getting his frustrations out. He earned it.

Read the Quaran...around 2/3 of it is about converting or killing the infidels(anyone but them).
It's their way or no way, and why their ideals and values do not assimilate into western society, or any society other than their own.
And yes, there are irreconcilable differences between the left and the right.
We each belive things should be a certain way, and will not bend...but that does not mean he is trying to start a civil war either.
He is a little bit more than a talk show host as well...he paid a big price serving this country.

I have read it. Pretty much as boring as the Bible. It appears you haven’t read either or did so with bias. Every religion employs fear to some extent; that’s the main reason I don’t partake.

The Quaran doesn't "employ fear" either...it teaches to convert or kill anyone of another faith.
The Bible teaches to spread it's message as well...but Not to kill those who disagree, but to forgive and live in peace.
Jesus said "Moses gave you the law(the 10 commandments) and I have given you another, to love thy neighbor(and enemies)as thyself".
It does not say to accept their ways, or to kill them for it, but to love them, which is to be merciful, and show kindness.
There IS a big difference in the 2 faiths.

He is also a decorated veteran.....I don't disagree with his premise of the elimination of wokeness in the military and placing the person in the job because they are the right fit not the right gender or race.....

As a modern veteran, he would automatically be partially anti-Islam as this is the religion of our most recent enemy...many of this generation of veteran and serving member are anti-Islam....even Muslim military members denounce the extremists within their religion, I have found western Muslims fight for their country, not their religion....

Not true. Verses from the Quaran are often taken out of context . In verses talking about fighting or killing, it’s clear to fight only those who wage war against you. Same as the Bible with its hurtful stories of betrayal. They both set contrast by using the fear of what if. People will always forge their own definitions.

One thing to note is the fact non-Christian people are reproducing at an ever increasing rate and as their own home countries are wrought with strife and destruction, they (like anyone else) seek to leave that sort of place....and where isn't wrought with strife and destruction? I've read it but that was long ago and I can't quote any verses out of it to be honest.....I would have to read it again to really have the knowledge needed to either defend or dispute the teachings.........I do remember there are passages of peace in there as well and to fight only those who oppress or desire to fight...that's about all I can remember.

I also know most Muslims are very devout to their religion and their faith grows stronger while the Christian faith gets weaker.

I know the extremists view non-Muslims as Infidels and not worthy and when they declare Jihad, all bets are off towards us.

Hi. I am an Agnositc. I do beleave to be good to people. Also is not your enemies one that want to convert you anyway that they can? Lie to you, and if that does not work kill you. They do want to rule the world. I am an eye for an eye kind of guy. You kill someone you should die for what you did. If done with malice. Being drunk and driving on the wrong side of the road is malice. This is why I did not become a police officer. There would be yo many deid bad guys. I would also have to arrest myself for speeding.
