What cell phone holders do you guys use?

I was looking for a decent cell phone holder? What do you all recommend?
I would not recommend to put your cellphone on the dash. I have a fairly new cellphone and a decent cell phone mount. Over months of use - the camera of my cell broke (the shutter )and I had to send it in for repairs right now. There is info all over the web to not to put your cell on the dash. here is a link to what it does to your camera!

most of the comments on youtube say that they all put their phones on dash holders on motorcycles!

I use an extra large x mount from ram mount but with all the galaxy phones it wants to hit right on the volume button. I've ran mine thru a couple phones and haven't had any issues with damaging the phone, of course the stem mount is a bit of a pain as it seems to airways wanna move but I think the rubber piece dampens the vibrating which probably helps with not damaging the phone. Ive seen a few people running with the quad lock and they at the like them a lot more then the x grip you just have to order their case for it to work.

Thats crazy! I wonder if Michael J Fox's cell phone cameras do that over time!

what i would recommend is the combination of these 4 parts
1. the yoke mountable 1" ball
montiert.jpg

this piece with its inner thread M24x1.5 replaces the top-nut on the steering shaft (torque will be the same - 90 Nm)

2. a 1" clamp from ram mount, length? up tp you
Klemme.jpg

3. the phone case from sp connect - look at their list at site 4 your phone

4. its 1" ball connector to the clamp above (2.)

caused by the experiences of a good buddy over more than 5 years i would say that no other bracket would be more solid

to use the phone case also in your car etc.
use this at-screen holder bundle called " Car Bundle II"
car-bundle.jpg

if you buy this bundle you can do without the purchase of the single phone case shown above at #3
it is included in the bundle ;

and at last
if you have one of the following phone models :
- Apple iPhone 8 / 8+ / XS / X / XS Max / XR / 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max / SE (2020)
- Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge / S8 / S8+ / S9 / S9+ / Note9 / S10 / S10+ / S10e / Note10 / Note10+ / S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra
- Huawei Mate20 Pro
i suppose you should can use this wireless charging module
I haven't checked it yet, but I like to trust their homepage text

hope my hints and links may help a bit

I researched the warnings above and I thank you @Sandow for your smarts. It seems the gyroscope which performs image stabilization in many cameras can be broken via the vibration of the motorcycle.

I did look for vibration-proof solutions but did not find one when I put together my kit. Bad timing. Story of my life. But here we go:

My right hand , never failed me .. :D
We were talking cell phone holders...not "THAT" you pervert...

I actually just quite using Bluetooth from cell in jacket to helmet comm.
One of the reasons I ride is to get away from the fuggin thing (and the world it's connected to). Nothing in my entire world is that critical that I want cell phone distraction while riding a Turbo charged Hayabusa. If I stop for fuel or lunch,I can check messages then.
Let's say someone really close to you just died. And you find out about it an' hour later than everybody else on Facebook? Guess what, they're still dead. Not much you can do when yer off miles away in the twisties having fun.
That 16 year old kid...or the Grammie of that 16 year old kid that's on their phone...just about to left turn in front of you...you had a chance to avoid it but unfortunately...you were looking down at your phone. My bad...back to yer thread..."Way's to get killed while riding #27"

Yup, quadlock rocks.

One of these 3 guys comes to mind... @BigBSBusa @SSGT_B or maybe @fallenarch not sure who it was that suggested you may want your phone on you personally (like in your pocket) in the event someone crashes you (perhaps while texting) or you crash yourself (by fugging with yer phone) and you actually NEED YOUR PHONE to dial 911. You may not be in the best shape to crawl around a crash scene looking for your phone which may now lay in another time zone due to impact.
(long distance charges may now apply)
I know..."Rubb the worry wart"
I've only been hit 2X...so don't worry,it'll never happen to you.
Party on...:super:

I'm a younger guy and I actually don't use my phone while driving so why would I use it to text while riding? Its strictly for maps and GPS I'm a loner anyways so no one to text even if I could.
