Went a different route for mounting. Mounted to my jacket arm. Used an arm band, took to a shoe repair shop to have it stitched on. Think of it like a "Predator" style mount. Bluetooth to my ear buds, raise hand to view. And, less shock from bike mounting and less worry about phone falling off. Screen set to auto rotate, don't be off put by the fact the screen is "upside down to rider" in pic.

On a semi related note, I saw an idiot texting with one had on his bike the other day...I was really hoping he'd hit a pot hole but no such luck.

Darwin will eventually catch up with him I reckon.

Its for use of Google maps and GPS speed. I guess I could glue a map to the inside of my visor?

Use a tankbag with a clear-topped pocket that holds your map. That's what I do.

I ended up ordering the quad lock stem and case, it's pretty much winter though so won't be able to test it out!

It's compact. Secure. Quick. Has the right accessories, (I have the damper for vibration and usb). I don't have the case, I use their generic mount onto a spigen case.

The case is very good, nice high bumpers around the screen. Cleaner looking install than e grip, even have wireless charging unit so as long as it’s on your bike it’s getting power.

Yah I had to order the vibration damper I was going to order it with it but it was out of stock, but it works amazing abd even up to top speed the mount and phone don't move or anything.

I guess ill be making the jump over to quad lock once they get the case back in stock.

Just installed the quad lock with the vibration dampener. Install was a lot easier than the RAM mount and feels more secure as well.

Yup you will love it! I love mine! I use it as my speedo camera/GPS saves my gopro for another spot! You should remove the warning sticker btw

Yea I already enjoy it. Doesn’t touch the buttons like the x grip did and easier to get out. I keep meaning to take the sticker off but always forget. I’ll do it one day!

I had the stem mount on a cbr300 for 4 years and a year on the busa. Eventually the mount got loose. After taking the quad lock for a 4 hour ride, it didn’t move at all. RAM was good when I had it but I’m all for quad lock now.
