I did the Dragon on mine. A lot of nerves at first thinking she'd freak out in those curves. Once I learned to relax and trust her, it was actually pretty astonishing how well she did. Yes it took more effort to push her over, it's just felt unnatural at first. By the time I did the down run, the return run was much faster.Oh it flicks around just fine.
And other than outright acceleration, and ground clearance, even though it leans alot further than you would think...good luck getting away on any twisty road.
Look up YellowWolf on the Dragon on Youtube.
I know personally of a group of local prick ametuer racers that went down there years back.
A couple of my riding buddies were there too.
YW told them if they couldn't keep up or pass him, they had to go home.
He was waiting at the end, helmet off, and told them to "get the h*ll off of his mountain".
Alot of bikes are not nearly as limited as many people think that they are.
Also keeping in mind I'm running an overdriven final drive and a car tire on the rear she was even more amazing. Never got past 3rd gear.
She never complained about any part of what she was doing. The brakes had a little fade by the end. But considering she was pushing 1400 lbs........
