What did you do to your other motorcycle today ?

Oh it flicks around just fine.
And other than outright acceleration, and ground clearance, even though it leans alot further than you would think...good luck getting away on any twisty road.
Look up YellowWolf on the Dragon on Youtube.
I know personally of a group of local prick ametuer racers that went down there years back.
A couple of my riding buddies were there too.
YW told them if they couldn't keep up or pass him, they had to go home.
He was waiting at the end, helmet off, and told them to "get the h*ll off of his mountain".
Alot of bikes are not nearly as limited as many people think that they are.
I did the Dragon on mine. A lot of nerves at first thinking she'd freak out in those curves. Once I learned to relax and trust her, it was actually pretty astonishing how well she did. Yes it took more effort to push her over, it's just felt unnatural at first. By the time I did the down run, the return run was much faster.

Also keeping in mind I'm running an overdriven final drive and a car tire on the rear she was even more amazing. Never got past 3rd gear.

She never complained about any part of what she was doing. The brakes had a little fade by the end. But considering she was pushing 1400 lbs........

I await the video of you doing a breakie and wheelie on yours....that would be classic....especially if they were done in front of a sport bike gathering and even better with opera music playing on the stereo and a passenger on the back....

The wheelie I can do...the stoppie...I don't think the fat pig can do one, but maybe with a slight hill to crest, do a small jump over, and land on the nose, it could be done...nothing's impossible.
And, I have been the guy to pull off some crazy stunts, have it look smooth and on purpose, play it off as no big deal...and wonder how the heck I just did that...
lmao

Is it called a "stoppie?" I've always heard it called a "breakie" not that I've ever done one on purpose....

Yep, at least here in Murica'
I've never heard of a brakie, but I knew what you meant.
Canadia has their own English language...much like Europe does
lol
I can do stoppies too, but never could get them as consistent as I liked, the height vs control would vary.

The Wing is good at a lot of things. And you can stop with confidence using the linked braking system. However in the braking dept. I'd not rate it as stellar.

Keeping in mind nobody ever designed her to have either one of her wheels off the ground on purpose.

Yep
Mine is Non-ABS, like I wanted, and I put on EBC HH pads, but like you said, the brakes are ok, but still not great.
I've looked for calipers that I could swap, but have found none.
I was also(and still may) put on a Brembo master cylinder, but would have to do some customizing to the lever to make the cruise control function properly.

You can lock up the wheels if ever in a panic stop. But I think the forks would twist if you ever put all that weight off the ground and on to them.

With the fork brace and billet triple-trees I think they could handle in once or twice...before they fold
lol
The GW forks belong on an old 600, they are Way too small
Exactly! One of the reasons the Wings kept their price low was using a lot of what was on the shelf parts. It has half a Honda Civic in her. And as we learned, an outdated off the shelf suspension. To their credit they modernized the suspension in the latest last few generations.

They still need better brakes even with this latest generation.

I want to ride the new gen, and see what that funky, no-fork, bushing front end is like, I can see a smooth ride, but giving up some control through curves after a certain speed too, as there is no adjustment
