Why don't you go with your impulse and see what she's like? Maybe she is not a chain smoker. These days in the US people are very sensitive about smokers' odor and hygiene. She may be concious of this sensitivity and brush her teeth in anticipation of being intimate. If she doesn't give you that courtesy then you will at least know firsthand.

I found out she smoked on the phone... I do IT support and was working on her system and she said, "Do I have time to go take a smoke?" and the FIRST thing INSTANTLY out of my mouth was, "No. Smoking is bad for you. you should quit." It was kinda funny but I was only thinking of me. :)

Previous female friends have smoked, and always did it away from me, but it is STILL a major road block.


Va, are you saying cig out on head is a BAD thing? ? ? Man, am I learning stuff here!! :laugh:
 
I can't stand smoking and it actually gives me sinus headaches, but I've been with a smoker for over a year now, and she started Chantix today in an effort to stop. I've never said a word to her and I hope it works.

Don't let it hold you back. If you do it right women will do anythingfor you...quit smoking, leave their husband, anything you want.:beerchug:

My future wife quit smoking when we started dating - or it never would have gone any further. Lucky for me she did, we now have a beautiful 7 year old little girl, AND 3 bikes in the garage :thumbsup:

Oh, and that's her in my avatar with me jumping out of a Casa 212 on her 1000th jump (or mine, i can't remember which)

skydiver, I am impressed you have a life OUTSIDE Skydiving! I know how addictive THAT is. I saw the addiction after my 16th jump and bailed out. Pun intended. :) But it is STILL in my blood!

Interesting points. Maybe I'll feel her out a bit - maybe it's just experimental smoking or something short lived, easily replaced by more excitement in life... namely ME :D And if it goes anywhere, brendan I'll post up a pic. She could model tomorrow if she wanted.

of course... maybe smoking keeps her thin.... DOH!

you will go thru all this worry and 2nd guessing only to find out she has the looks, but has some other quirk that really turns you off. Its a big ol' game of dice...you either like to gamble or you don't.

TO ME, she is very attractive like in a Claire Forlani kind of way. "Beauty is in the eye..." besides, I don't even know if she's taken or not yet. But.... all's fair in love and war..
