What do you think about this road?

Could you send a location in a PM please? No, I am not an LEO, but I work for the government (doing God's work one hour at a time)

Looks awesome! I'd bring a couple friends and have them park a mile or so apart in case something goes wrong. Do a couple of semi-fast runs to make some noise and scare any wildlife out of the area. I like twistes, too, as mentioned by Pardini in an earlier post, but there are many wonderful aspects to be experienced on a Hayabusa! Bring some sandwiches and sodas and do a few runs and enjoy; you've found a great road! Actually, it all sounds illegal :rulez:, so I wouldn't really suggest any of the prior written. :beerchug:

This is the best, flattest, straightest, 60 miles from nowhere, and not patrolled road I have ever seen! I stopped the car and stood in the middle of the highway for at least twenty minutes without seeing a vehicle. There are no cross roads of any kind. The only thing to worry about would be deer, elk, or moose. There is just as much of the same road behind me. I'm guessing 4 miles forward and back.

Looks like HWY 33

What Rich sez.

You may wanna take some extra gas with ya!

You know what's going to happen right? You're going to get on that road and there's going to be a cop sitting on the side of the road.........there to ruin everything!!!!!!

Guymon, Oklahoma - Straightest Road - 50 miles
In Guymon I got on Hwy 64/412 and headed West and was quickly blown away about my ability to see the road going on, for as far as I could see, as a perfectly straight line! Shortly after arriving in San Diego I looked at a map to see how long the road stayed straight and it looked like just a bit longer than 50 miles!

I used Google Maps to scan my way down Highway 64/412 to see if it was in fact a straight line with no jogs to miss a farmhouse or stock pond - it is like an arrow! I've been on a lot of roads that seemed to go on forever in a straight line (New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and desert California) but can't recall ever driving for close to an hour with nary a twitch of the steering wheel. [John Shea, 05/08/2007]

[RA: The "straightest road" title is difficult to acquire -- even the slightest bend is a disqualifier. First-hand accounts like these, however, are impressive. Oklahoma, why don't you promote this road?]

New Mexico or Nevada gets my vote.

+1! I'm not familar with New Mexico, but Nevada definitely has some long, long, very nice open roads with no one, seriously, no one around. Remember the mafia :poke: ??? Good place for the .Org to get together and do some runs.

Its not New Mexico im form there and have never seen a straight road like that, well possibly in the southwest part but it reminds me of hwy 17 to Alamosa or 285 from Saguache to Monte Vista in CO. hmmm we could guess all day just come out with it!!:poke:
