What engine mods are you doing this winter

The winter is almost here and it will be time to perk things up a little, anr many of you going deep into the bowels of the motor?

Or how many are just going with the simple bolt on stuff?

Deja vu!! My winter motor project list includes:

1. Installing whichever turns out to be the best turbo for the buck. There are a couple in development. They should be ready by February or so. If I can't convince my wife to go for the turbo, then I'll sneak some head work, cams and blueprinting by her.

2. Longer gearing to go with the turbo. I would like to find a way to do this inside the tranny instead of with sprockets so that I can select my own gear ratios rather than just an overall ratio. I don't know if this is even possible, but I'll sniff around.

3. Modify intake scoops...make'em bigger and project them forward to capture more pressure.

4. Find and install an electronic air shifter that will give me the option of upshifting with a button push.

Yosh pipe and remap. I wanted to do a big bore kit, but the wife shot that idea in the *** .

1. Nitrous. Brian from Nitrous Express says the Busa's Nitrous system will be ready to go in December.
2. The TTS Big Bore set-up or somebody else's system.
3. Install the Terry Macintosh extended swing arm.
4. Extend my rear fender over the extension.
5. Repaint the back Fender, Red and white, like the rest of my bike.
6. Chrome wheels
7. Take a lot of pics.

we have no winter in vegas, unless an average of 54 degrees is winter........I ride all winter long...........but im going to do the ram single sided swing arm as soon as my personal advsier(KawAbuser) gets his done...........

CRAZY BILL: Yes got that thanks. We've got a duplication problem between the 2 sites. I wish we could all agree on which kinds of messages go on which site. Maybe the trick is for members to refrain from posting the same topic on both sites. I dunno.

Not suggesting that you are duplicating Frank's topic, KawAbuser. Yours is slightly different. It's certainly an excellent topic that everyone should have a shot at.
