What is a moderator?

What i wanted to ask, is what does a moderator do? Also i wanted to know is how do you become one? Because i figured that you probably have to own the site. But if you guys are looking for help or something like that i'm willin to do it!

But so that you don't let someone do it non-knowingly, i do not, currently own a busa. And don't have a lot of streetbiking experience. So if that cancels me out, let me know, so that i can take back off this topic and clear up space for something more important!

In theory we're here to help you figure out your Avatar, fix and move posts, try to make certain that threads go where they are best suited, and in general keep the peace, We're like Fuggin UN PeaceKeepers. Just here to catch a lot of flak, operate with obscure or non-existant directives, and try not to fug anything up too much...

Well, most of the Mods do... I'm generally here to torture the stupid, step in that goo over there in the corner, stir things up, create unrest, scare childeren, and uh... Play the role of "Bad Cop" on request. Oh and Be Rubbah's Lap Dog...

So uh send me $100 and I'll see if I cannot get you Moderator status. But I promise it's WAY over rated, folks quit arguing with ya when you're lookin for a scrap, and it's always bad stuff, not good stuff.

But, The pay isn't too bad and the Free Hayabusa's make up for a lot.

How do i improve my rank? I mean i'm willing to wait if that is standard, but i greatly enjoy status, "not meaning to sound like a jerk of COURSE, 'smirk', but allright.

And by the way, if i had some "<span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'></span>Huge<span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'></span> money, i would have gone out and bought my busa already!

Most of us were mods at one time or another, you don't think we actually bought these busas do you? Here's what you do. Mod just long enough to get your free busa then split. I don't know why Rev is still doing it. Notice though that Rubbersidedown is a new mod, that's why he doesn't have a busa at the moment. He'll probably split too as soon as he gets his free one.
