what is the purpose of a TRE

I have mine just for the gear indicator. Love it, the k8's dont need the GiPro. I dont need the TRE, as I will never see 187 on my bike.

I got the Gipro for the gear indicator. I like those things. I will probably enable the tre thingy also just for the heck of it. Just in case I grow some you know.
