What it a TRE?

I contacted the guys from Nikko Gpack and they told me that their G pack always shows 4 in the display,except for neutral.  (you can check that on their website:http://www.nikkoracing.com/gpack_tarifsuz.htm)
Look at the list and you'll see the hayabusa K8 and click on it and it will tell 4th gear on display.
So ,imo, it is nothing more than a smart TRE with 2,7 kohm resistor.

TRE, JSD and I dunno what else its called but it made someone a lot of money. I had one on my Gen 1 busa but IMO it ran better with it off.

Did they tell you they had one a G-pack for the new 2008? For what I understand they only have them for the 99-07's

yes, it is for the busa K8; it is listed as JS1 CK and priced 200 euros !!

Again, display shows 4 everywhere, except in neutral.A smart tre with 2,7 kohm will do the same job.

Sorry, I do not know how to interpret these readings could you explain. Did the ZX-12 do better of worse than the Busa?

The G-Pack does show the correct gear however, the G-Pack is for the 99-07 Models, the 2008 uses a gear sensor that is installed on the left side of the engine and you can go into your dealer and ask them to show you the part on there 3-D screen to see yourself.  I believe this is a must and is such a quick cheap fix to unrestricted your bike, only cost like $67.  And yes you can install a PC to load whatever map you like.  you can email me and give me your # and I can call you to explain more if you like.

after you log 3 minutes or more at 186mph and in need of more... think about it..

I put a smart tre on my bike and i have never used it to see the top speed. 175-180 indicated is good.
