Geza cover for mine, you can even leave it on the bike when you tow it on an open trailer.. My bike stays locked and covered in my garage with house security instant active on the garage and alarm on the bike. Soon to have a larger home in the yard for my other toys as well.
Although I'm bike-less now,I kept the http://www.cycleshell.com/ , bought it used for $200. I don't live where it freezes but it more that stood up to the winter storms, vented with no moisture problems.
hmmm i forgot to give the new owner of my camaro the cover, thats a good idea. I'll probably move mine into my "family" ie storage room for the winter so it stays warm and keeps the garage critters out of it. Plus i wont have to move it out in the snow when i'm welding/cutting/ grinding and all the other misc crap i do in there that destroys paint and covers
