what rear stand are u all using?

Handy stands all the way. They are plenty solid and work great! Oh and the $99 for both front and rear can't be beat. I am looking at getting one of their stem lifts too.

I got some cheap rear stand it seems to be just fine. Its double wheeled (4 wheels total) and it cost 54 euro or about 70 bucks.

I need a set of stands and that $99 deal sounds good but that stem stand looks sweet. I wish they offered a package deal with that one instead.

Have you heard if it works ok with the Busa? I'd really like something like that in case I ever need to do work on the forks plus it looks like it would be easier/safer to manage.

the handy stands are good ... I've had some for almost 2yrs and so far no issues with mine.

Let me ask u guys another question, Bigbs and sproket-is the black portion of your paint the same exact color on you two bikes? Mine is an 05 and I want to change the front wheel fender to all black. My paint seems to have a little bit of navy blue deep inside, but looks black unless u hit it with the light just right. OK now, if it is the same color, have u changed the fender or is it for the same year that the bike is? What year is that? I see ur sigs, I just wan to make sure I order the correct year. Thanks again.-EZ

I just replied to your other post and went back to check Color-Rite. Both mine ('03) and Sproket's ('01) bikes have the same black color (Pearl Novelty Black), but yours ('05) is Black Nebular Black. Don't know how different the two colors are since I haven't seen the '05 in person. I know that mine does have a blue tint to it, but not sure if its the same as yours. I have changed out my front fender, but it was the same year piece. Give Color-Rite (800-358-1882) a call and see if they can help you.

I use this cheap $70 stand made by Lockhart Phillips. Works fine, seems fairly stable, hooks onto the swingarm instead of the spools and the width is adjustable. I will, however, purchase the Pitbull as soon as I get the funds.

To those with the Heindl stands, are you using the rear spools? I can't get the bike up on the rear when using the spools - I just can't get enough leverage to lift it. Luckily, I bought the combination stand (it was only $10 more) and the swingarm side works fine.
