And that backs up what I was saying about full systems not neccesarily providing a huge increase in power over slip-ons.  All bikes are different, some run stronger than others, but everyone thinking that a full system makes the most power is not always the case.  In fact, I think my Busa made 2 more LbFt of torque with the slip-ons then yours.  And I think speedgeek saying 160 from 8000rpm to redline is a little optimistic.  Looking at a lot of dyno charts for bikes with mods similar to what I have done and versus full systems is part of the reason I thought that the only thing that i would gain would be a weight savings with a full system.  they do not automatically make 10 more hp over slipons like a lot of people seem to believe.  I like the look of the dual exits as well.  Performance and power are found with research and with good tuning in combination with the right mods.  Myths and speculation do not a power curve make.

I guess I'll have to dig out the dyno chart and get it scanned in...

Mine DID hit the 160 mark right at 8K and never dropped below 160 for the duration of the pull... with the peak number coming in right at 10.2

^^^ Not sure what you are basing that on, Cblast... JohnnyCrash is running a full Muzzy system.

This topic has been beaten to death and EVERY tuner will tell you that slip on's are nice for looks and sound, but a waste for performance. But whatever..

Dyno Chart... The lines were so faint on it I had trace them over and scan it at the highest resolution... even then, its not the best quality, but readable:

Oh yeah.... this was a tune after another shop had tuned it..... so the original dyno pull shown on the bottom isn't stock... same mods, just a before/after tune chart.  Like I said, it pulled 152.2 stock.

Also I was recalling from memory, so I was a bit off on the numbers:
168.06 HP and 99.98 Torque

I am basing it on the fact that with the full system his motor made 163.57hp and 3lb ft less torque than mine with slip-ons.  So it netted him a gain of less than 1hp and a loss of 3 lb-ft of torque.  Now this is all just academic because all motors of course will perform slightly different based on manufacturing variances, but, the full system in his case did not provide a signficant performance increase.  Now looking at your dyno chart, I was obviously wrong in thinking that your estimate of 160 from 8000 up was optimistic.  That is exactly what it looks like your bike pulled and that is excellent!  I apologize for my initial scepticism about that.  That is exactly the kind of data that we need more of so that all of us Busa owners can make more informed decisions.  I am seriously looking at several full systems and it appears that the most significant performance gains can be had with Tsukigi, Arata, Akro Evo, or the "Sumo".  I learn something new every day on this forum and I love it!
