What specifically to check out?

While this is good info, it's not 100% accurate. My covers look as new as they did on the show room floor. My chain and sprockets are spotless and show little or no wear.

My bike is also up for sale, and I replaced the tires because the old Michelins were worn.

Some people, such as myself, are perfectionists when it comes to their bikes.

and i would understand how much of a perfectionist you were after speaking to you about the bike.....

that is lot different than looking at brand tires on 30k mile bike sitting in a dealership....

Listing this for a close friend. All questions can be sent to me and then responses will be made within 24hrs.

Tags are current and up to date. Title is clean and clear in hand.

He is not the original owner so I can only base the information that I know from the time he has had the bike (little over 2yrs.)

Never been dropped or layed down by him. You can tell from the broken brake lever and the scratched bar end that it has been dropped. Show signs of cosmetic wear, after all it is 10 years old. Small dent in top of tank. Looks to be from a hard tank slap.

Mods:
K&N air filter. No airbox mod, flap still intact. Full titanium RS3 Yoshi Exhaust with Stainless Can. PCIII (map unknown) Manual override for radiator fans.

Cons:
Cosmetic damage. Dead battery (will get exact mileage after I charge it up). Busted radiator hose.

Service:
Bike recently had a new fuel pump, cleaned gas tank, and full tune-up done at Suzuki of Tomball. Runs like a champ till the radiator hose broke. About a $20 part and 60mins of labor to replace. Other than that, everyone works great.

Extras:
Motoboss XL mesh jacket w/liner. XL shoei helmet. (looks brand new) blue/black carbon fiber gloves. XL

If you have any questions either call or text to 832-287-1678 or email at the above address.

Bike is listed to the best of our knowledge and is sold as is.

Make sure there's no fluids in the underbelly. Some of the earlier ones had a problem with a output shaft seal starting to leak. Not a huge deal unless it needs replaced. The only way to replace it is to tear the motor apart.

Bike looked clean, ran smooth. Couldn't ride it though, dealership wouldn't let me. Seemed firm on the price so I am going to look around a bit, but on Friday I am going to see what they would give me for my current bike which is a fairly beat 01 sv650. Oh well, the reading and search goes on.

Okay guys, bike looks real good. The only imperfection it has are the front wheel well (I know I am using the wrong term, the tire's fairing? haha sorry) has a small slit in it from someone starting it with a wheel lock on and trying to go. And then on the cowl there are two small bubbly areas that it looks like some fluid was dropped it. But it runs well, and everything else seems perfect. He said probably about 1500 for my Sv on trade in, but he wanted to check it out on Monday to be sure. Otherwise though I think he is firm on the 5800 price. I have looked, and in the central PA area or even a little further I can't find a better price. So if I can get 1500 for my sv (01, 36k miles, tires and chains need replace soon, and rash on right side) I think I will definitely get it. I might even if he won't give me that, but it'd be easier then messing with selling the SV privately I think. What are all your thoughts? Thanks guys.

I hope it turns out to be a good deal for you. Throw some pix up as soon as the deal is done
