What would you do to your Busa for $5K

I'd do nothing to the Busa and spend the $5k traveling. So guess I'd use it for gas for the Busa at least

I spend 200 upgrading the stock shock with a heavier spring and stuff and use the rest as a good down and a nice stablemate something different but fun

I don't really see the need for more power, certainly not a turbo or supercharger. I don't street race or drag but I do ride pretty fast when appropriate. To be honest, I wouldn't want all that power with the bike leaned over! From a power standpoint, the Busa is just about perfect for me as is frankly.

Ohlins fork kit with appropriate spring rate for your weight. Ohlins shock, and replace your scratched exhaust can. Set your sag.

I would upgrade everything by getting a 2012.

You would not be upgrading the looks if you went with a Gen II.

Spend the 5k on suspension, brakes, exhaust and paint. Any left over goes for rubber and gas.

Then you can do the parts and pieces/odd and ends thing a little at a time later.

Drop a turbo in it and it probably wont be like anything else in the city.

A 240 kit which I have my budget set to do this winter.One more car to sell and the money is set for that and a full brocks.Its good to have a side gig wrenching to pay for the extras.
