I am currently overseas as a government contractor. Before I left I had to sell my 05 Busa. When I get back of coarse I am going to buy another one :-) So my question is.....what year is the best busa to buy. I did alittle looking into it....and I found out that the 09 Busa would be the best...its the same as the newer ones as for power and everything and I wouldnt be left with the higher price tag. I am planning on adding a turbo to it and everything. I want to get while on my last R&R back in the states and turn it in to a shop....so when I get done and come back to the states for good it will be completed and ready for me to ride!

So if anyone can give me there insights on what year is good.

Thanks!!!

Any Gen2 would work. Buy one with the color scheme you like and call it a day!

If your going to stay on pump gas then save big $$ and get a gen 1 and you will be safe up to 8# of boost and not need a intercooler ($1000) or water injection system ($700 - $900 ish) or high octane gas. If your going to really boost it and have a ecu tuner nearby and are really going to jump into the turbo game then gen 2 with engine work is the way to go.

Depends on what your hp goal and bike purpose is to begin with.

Gen-II. Buy the color you want. Keep us posted on the Turbo.

99-12, short list 08-12  I don't know what '05 you had but my '08 blk looks a lot like that '05 LE. If you're just going stage 1 you'll need a low mileage ride. Anything over 300 to the wheel and it doesn't matter; you'll be building it anyway.
