What you use to answer calls and hear music while riding ?

i dont, to busy focusing on the road and the cars that all want to kill me to take calls, and well music... i rock out when my tunes are on so none of that for me eithe

i just listen to tunes. anyone important knows i don't answer the phone when riding. and anyone who doesn't know, well, i'll get back to them when i get back to them.

Looks interesting.

I've got a Scala setup that I've been running for a while.

I have a Sena SMH10 with upgraded speakers. It works really well for the 2-3 way conversations between riders and the Bluetooth/voice command function works really well. I up graded the speakers as I wasn't happy with the sound quality. It works so well I now only use it for 2 way conversations between the wife and myself. It's too easy to be distracted and during our busy season here that is not a good thing with all the traffic and poor driving habits from the older out of towners. No phone call or song is worth getting hurt for.

I've got ear buds for my razor, use to listen to music, catch calls, acknowledge text, but bc certain people felt the need to constantly call me on rides I just started taking the MP3 player and checking the phone at stops.

i have an iphone 4 and i use the earphones from that, but i'm also looking for better earphones with mic that i can install in my helmet.

The mic / control hangs around my throat. Never had anyone ask me to repeat myself even over the short meg.

AutoCom and I love that. Very dependable and I turn the bike on and radio, 2-way, GPS, Blackberry (which I hate), Radar, and Ipod are ready to go. No more forgetting to charge the helmet, bluetooth drop-outs, or stuff not connecting. All bike powered. I can answer phone but don't unless I'm stopped. Nice to not have to undress to answer or make a call though, just pull off the road, dial and I can talk in the helmet.

This topic comes up a lot...

I use autocomm,

Bluetooth with Droid
MP3
GPS
Can make or receive calls
XM radio
FM walkie w/ range of about 2 miles... (depending on who I am talking to)

Sena SMH10. I love it, but the stock speakers do kinda suck. My wife can call me when riding too that kinda sucks as well.

I use a BT-Interphone. It has 3-way comms between other riders/passenger, auto answer and hang-up for phone calls and PTT to switch between riders. If I'm listening to my touch and the phone rings, the music pauses, phone rings in-ear then answers on the third ring. Comms are crystal-clear. People tell me that they didn't know I was on the bike while talking to them. The wires are tucked under the liner and the mic is routed just in front of my mouth. I don't see nor feel it when the helmet is on. Push-button volume adjustment as well.

Is this like selective hearing? Sorry Cap I couldn't resist.

Normally I am right there with you about not answering the phone while you are on the ride. But there have been a few times plans have changed. Lucky for me I was getting gas at the time so I was able to take the call for the redirect.

And the trek across central Washington there is NOTHING there. Just straight hot road and a few tumble weeds.

nothing i like to concentrate when riding. too many dumba**es out there to be distracted
