Whats causing my busa 2000 to bogg down with too much fuel?????????????

Alright, you just had the bike rebuilt ...... and it won't run ...... maybe I'm weird but it would be at the shop until it ran. Did a Zuki dealership do the work ?

Dado did you have 2 ask??

Obviously if he just got it rebuilt and it's not running right he didn't get it built @ a dealership or like you said he never would've taken it off the lot without firing it up and giving it a once over.... or @ least I hope he would've done that

I'm not sure about the busa but if it's like the gsxr there are only two wire plugs that you can cross up, I'm betting the wires are crossed?

Thanks guys.... i replaced the fuel pump still had the same problems replaces the fuel pump regulator boom she fired right up.....now that she's runn I'm still getting more white smoke out of the tails then I should. I Alrdy took n2 account that it's 20 to 30 degrees here in Kansas. But still more than it should............

Find a knowledgeable member nearby or find a good trustworthy mechanic. Best of luck.

swerve check for water in the oil and vice versa..

So what if there is water n the oil or vice versa? I spoke to someone they said just to ride it and see if the smoke stops

if there is water in the oil or vice versa you have a bad head gasket or leaking.

Not a mechanic, but I think blow by is defined as unburned fuel and/or gases that escape past the piston rings and enter the crankcase. What's being discussed I think is a bad head gasket that allows gases and or coolant to pass between cylinders or between the water jacket and cylinder walls or outside the engine. This can cause coolant to leak into the cylinders causing basically steam ( white smoke ) to exhaust with gases through the exhaust or coolant to leak into the crankcase where the engine oil pools causing the oil to turn a milky white color.

Didn't you just get the motor built and didn't your builder tell you this was normal and would stop ? If so has it stopped ?

If you have an 1999-2001 Busa with the external fuel pump it could be the fuel lines. they have a tendency of either colasping or kinking . normally if the return is kinked then the fuel pressure will raise and flood the motor . There is also the feed line that has a possibility of kinking also, if that happens that starve the motor of fuel and run the bike lean (that there is surly a big NO NO) Hope this is helpful
