Where to Buy PC2?

I just spoke with a guy named "Jim" at a Suzuki dealer back east. He is a Naval firefighter who works part time in the parts dept at this dealer. His phone number at the office is 1-800-992-0127. He has 5-6 coming in on about Wednesday. The first one is mine. He is selling them for 20 over at a little under $265.00 plus up to $10.00 shipping depending on where you live. I feel it was worth $10 to not have to deal with bonehead service.

Drunderdog promised to let me know on Monday what the status is/was on the PC2 and I never heard from him. Didn't get replies to e-mails on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

I sent him e-mail today to cancel my order.

>I talked to these guys today and they offer the Power Commabder for 289.00 plus shipping.
Star Cycle at 1-800 990 bike

I checked Starcycle. They want $28 for shipping and handling (the handling part must include the plunger handle when you bend over).

Checked APE and they want $299, which is pretty typical. Didn't ask about shipping and "handling."

Drunerderdod, Drunderdod where are thou Drundredog. I too have sent an E mail about status on My order on PC-2.I thought he said he would get them in or around July 14? No Ansewer since yesterday on E mail sent. What is up?

Just called Drundredog. He said they are on back order and he is waiting for his order to be filled. Out of the ten he ordered he got two. So for this price I can wait a little longer.

Did you say Muzzy? Must....resist....mind weak....body strong.....must...have.... Muzzy full ti with round ti can....

Okay...you guys have played on my sympathies
wayyyy too much...yer killin' me here! I will
ship a PC2 anywhere in the country for $299.00 with UPS ground freight included. I will however not accept anything except prepayment under this program. I will however ship COD money order or bank check but will add freight. Beware of all those who promise low price...they are usually not around very long in business and from the looks of things
on this topic, it seems customer service is the issue. In the event that there are national backorders on any product...no one could do anything about that. I don't want to be driven crazy with a gazillion telephone calls. Go to www.easterncycleperf.com for mailing address and order if you want one as fast as anyone else could deliver. Peace...Freddie

Just got off the phone with Jim at Sunrise Suzuki. He got six of them in. 4 were spoken for. Mr. Bear called on the other line while I was giving Jim my credit card info. Jim is apparently doing what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and for the agreed price (which is a good price). Woo-Hoo. PCII, full airbox mod, remove counter balancer, remove PAIR, gut stock cans. I figure about 15hp more than I had last week at this time for under $300.

I also recommend Jim (Too_Qwick) as living up to his word. I've ordered several small or med parts with him in the past months. NO Problems whatsoever! AND a real pleasure to do business with. Try him.

I'm guessing my Muzzy will be at my door when I get home today. Thanks Jim!

Just to let everybody know I have PC2's in stock again, got them in Wednesday just as I said I would. Price is still $265.00 plus shipping, shipping will be $10.00 or less anywhere in the US. If you're interested call me at Sunrise Auto & Cycle toll free (800) 992-0127 after 11:00am eastern time, ask for Jim
Ride fast be safe
Jim

Mambo...I am happy to hear about you getting your order processed and fulfilled. I am also sorry to hear that you have had problems in the past. Anyone who does business with me is
absolutely, positively satisfied. I will never make a remark or statement that is not backed up with either technical data or personal experience and the same goes for "peddling" other companies products. I manufacture products for people that get to sell them to the end user. I cannot begin to tell you guys the gazillion variables that are threatening to ruin my day every waking moment that will easily put a CNC miller out of commision and create a backlog of time. As for dealers who do not provide good service...these are foolish business people is about all I could say. A visit to my shop for a dyno test run or a full blown tuning session always nets the customer more than they are being charged for. We go the extra steps to ensure quality...but, this does not come without a pricetag and one thing that was said that I admire is that you asked for a "reasonable" price...not the cheapest...just reasonable. I try to provide
prices that reflect the level of service. For turning products over that other companies make...I think most of you guys would be surprised to see just how little triple net profit margin there is in reselling parts! I have some good deals here and there, but by and large I believe in providing a "loyal" customer with above average service. I am big on loyalty...if someone remains very loyal to my product line and services...it comes back to them. I might not be the cheapest every sale for resale items but if you need a dynorun or a product shipped special and I could pull it off...I will do it for the loyal customers. I don't have all the answers to the problems...but I am trying! I am nonetheless glad to hear that you got yourself going with this and I am sorry that some poor actions reflected on all us good guys. If I could be of any service whatsoever...let me know and good luck.

Supertuner, we've never done business and what I'm about to say does not reflect on you in any way:

The issue is not whether an item is backordered. The issue is there are dealers who commit to deliver a product by a certain date and then fail to di it. At the same time, they fail to keep the customer alerted to potential availability problems, and/or fail to respond to numerous e-mails and voice messages.

I'm sick of trying to do business with dealers who can't be relied on. I don't mind waiting for a product if I know it's on backorder. The problem is that too many dealers rather get the cash first and worry about service later.

Fortunately, I have a PC2 on the way (finally). I'd still be waiting more than seven weeks and hearing excuses from some of the "dealers" who have offered to sell PC2s on H.org.

I have a number of other items that I'm in the market for and I'll be wiser and more selective about who I do business with.

Even though Mambo already ordered one if anyone else is interested Orient Express out of NY has them in stock and at a good price. Not to mention they set it up with a good baseline map for your bike. When you order it they will ask you what you have done to your bike. (ex. Pipe, Pistons, Cams, Airbox, Fuel, etc.)
