Where to find children's leathers / protective gear

A friend of mine is having some trouble finding proper protective gear for her son. She can find some motorcross stuff, but he wants something more 'street' than dirt. (she has a cruiser with trike kit and he wants to ride with her at times)

Any parents out there that ride their children? where did you find good stuff to protect them while riding?

I would have her look at TourMaster of First Gear textile gear. Both are well built and padded. It would be the best way to go with growing kids.
