I have the 100% magnesium Dymag rims and I love em. I wouldn't go carbon fiber unless it was a track only bike...

I do. $3K for street wheels? a little overkill.... I would cry like a baby if it damaged in pothole.

been on full carbon since '99 have hit pot holes and 2 wrecks and they still perfect.
Could the same be said for the carbon/magnesium wheels. Trying to save a few hundred by going with the carbon/mag rims.

if it were me,I'd go 3 spoke. Less to clean. Getting yer hands past the front brake rotors is a drag. I wear a 1X to a 3X glove depending on mfg. and its a drag squishing them in to clean the wheels, especially on the rear wheel(chain lube,oil an' dirt on it all the time.
