Which Octane gas?

Race gas or anything other than 87 octane gas is not only a wate, it hurts performance on a stock or mildly modified busa.. Race gas burns much slower that pump gas, taking it farther nitromethane will hardy burn with a match. Without high compression, and a lot of timing there is no need to run any higher octane.

Dude, look at the insides of my pipes, they are almost white! you cant tell me thats not better! Smutty black pipes over this, and thats better? not hardly. The same goes for spark plugs, smutty black plugs= too rich.clean light colored with no specks = just right. I get clean pipes and far superior throttle responce with the VP fuel. I run the 87 and I got sheeat throttle responce and nasty pipes!

Thats residual of running leaded fuel . A street engine running long term on leaded fuel will have more hard deposits in the combustion chamber and on the exhaust valves than one using unleaded .

Lead also fouls the oxygen sensors and catalysists if used in vehicles equipped with .

I've looked at that picture over and over, even blew it up. The light gray outlet looks more like the remnants of a bad photochop to me.

Wow!! Stock bike 87-89 89 if oxygenated in your area.

116 octane for clean pipes, that is a new one on me. At $5.00 per gallon $26.00 per tank, what a waste unless you have high compression or a turbo.

I do like the looks of that exhaust though.................high and tight looks pretty good!!!!
Where do you get that system?

?
