Which one is??? Shoei X-11 Or Arai RX-7

I mean, either one is the top of their line, but I like to hear some opinions from our members...
If someone who have one of these or both of em? or heard of? noise level, quality, etc...as far as those helmet goes, anything will be appreciated...thanks for stopping by...have a nice Holidays...Jeff

I tried botht the X-11 and the RF-1000 and you can save a hundred dollars by getting the 1000 which in my opinion is a far superior helmet all around (but made by the same company? go figure) Ny buddy has the Arai and I love that helmet to not any more than my 1000 but what sold me over the arai is the face shield with the vents in it is 60 bucks a pop if you want a different one and I wont buy helmet that have the sides of the shield covered because those little covers have broken on 2 of my helmets now. And my buddies arai broke there as well. Nothing against it but I just think those side covers are poorly designed and weak. My two cents is neither and get the Shoei RF-1000 or X-11 which ever you think is more comfy.

I have both those lids,both are top shelf,Arai has a little bit more of a choice when it comes to head shape though.Both of mine fit perfect though.You will want to wear ear plugs with both.

+1 on the noise. I returned both myself. Don't get me wrong they are both top of the line for "melon protecting". Just did not fit my head like I wanted.

My RF 900 fits perfect so go figure. Best to try on at the local stealership then order online.

A few on here said the Icon helmets are nice also. Tough choice. You would think an easy buy but it is not.

I own the RX-7 Corsair Edwards Valencia edition. I love the helmet! My dealer formed it to my head and it's a lot quieter than the HJC helmet I had.

I have the roberts rx-7 fits perfect, but LOUD AS HELL ear plugs are a must. The sheilds are too pricey also.

I have the Roberts Corsair and don't think it is much louder than my old Signet. Best Helmet Made IMO.

I have both a Shoei and an Arai. Personally I like the Arai best. Mostly because of the way it fits my head. A lot folks like different helmets because of the fit. In my case the Arai just fits my head the best.

I've got one RF1000...very quiet one(solid BLK) but I was wonder about X-11...thinkin about dust off from the shelve...thanks

Do you have one of these? cuz I've got one and? did not like it...it has too many vent(it is pretty cool in summer...)and it makes alot of noise...(I put a review here last summer, refer to old post...)
