I do have a suggestion It still may have a canister on it some Suzuki that are not CA bike have canisters for the tank but not the carbs this would give you the sound.

It is cheaper for them to just install it on all instead of picking what ones get it.

Does not really matter in a couple of years they all will be CA bikes

Trying to state the facts and people still deny reality, go figure. "bonehead", huh huh huh, gee I haven't heard that one before. Ranks up there with bobohead, boner, meatman et al ad nausium.

Spoke with a bud of mine who owns a zrx1100 in FL and his squeals on occasion too. Explain that one, especially considering zrx's are banned from CA, no mistake of it being a CA version. Like I said, give me a good reason for it and I'm willing to listen, still haven't had one yet.

I would definitely agree with Johnnycheese's response. If it's not a CA bike it has something to do with an emissions canister.

I had a canister like the one Johnny describes on my ZX-11. Got ride of it...No more squeal.

That's just my personal experience, but who am I anyway?
