I’ve looked into it and it’s more work than I want to do with everything else I have planned and going on in my life.
When my work schedule slows down in fall I may buy a S1K subframe and see what I would need to do to make it work. But until then I think people are riding out the Gen 3 tail. It has more room somehow than a Gen 2 so there’s no easy swap.
Race parts are also coming out for Gen 3. There’s stock length and +18 tails out. Once catalyst makes a +4 or +6 I think there will be no need for the masses
A friend of mine who has owned a number of bikes over the years mentioned that Suzuki seems to have a "thing" with large tails....he jokingly said the designers much have big-butt fetishes......
If we look back at even the older bikes like the SRAD GSXR, or the TLR-S and all the older GSX-F bikes, they've all have big booties....
The gen 1 was ok, the gen 2 went over the top and the gen 3 even more so....
