Who has the Acumen

Yep it's flush mounted in the upper part of the left inner fairing. Blue wasnt available back then. You can program it on the rear stand. Takes seconds to do no high RPM's. Basically just bang thru the gears. It's a reminder tool and thats it. It's been a long time since Ive tried to take off in third cause I was eyeballin someone afar.

Got one, love it. Got a blue one. True what others have said about it responding slowly sometimes, but its definitely nice to look down and see what gear you're in.

By the way, I also ordered the outer metal casing (in Blue) for mine, which I didn't end up using. If you need that part, I'll let you have it at 1/2 price.

Good to know I wasn't the only one trying to find 7th gear

Like the mod on the fairing Iceman. Guess this is another thing to add to a growing list of stuff to buy for baby..

stated easy to install , but is it really that easy , how are you making the cable connections ?

If it did read the resistor network that the ECU uses, it would be much more responsive if you're just tooling around town. Although if you had a TRE, it would read 4 or 5 all the time.

That`s interesting.... I heard that accumen is very slow when you downshifting quick and clutch disengaged. That is the biggest problem I see. When downshifting from 6 to 3 in a turn I hate to end up in 2nd or 4th....

Is there anything else on a market using resistors or whatever else to show the gear even when clutch disengaged???
