But I like 'em both where used properly.

I often wonder what the Black/Charcoal '08 would look like (in person) with the gold wheels.

Kinda subjective, that's for sure! :beerchug:

There's one on here with gold everywhere, rearsets, etc.

Looks sweet

I get nothing but complements from all walks of life up here.

Old people who'd never look at a 'suicide cycle' even stop me in parking lots to chat me up on my bike and comment on how good it looks with the gold accents and 'those really nice gold wheels'.

Silver and black are nice 'but' a little generic while the gold is rare & just completes the whole colour scheme.

I wouldn't mind a secnd set of gold factory wheels for my Black 08, but then I would be ADHD till I got a matching set of gold levers to set them off correctly, lol...

Yeah, and it would drive you nuts! Because no one makes a "GOLD" that comes close to the gold that Suzuki used on the wheels. It's truly quite an odd gold color. I mean even the Kanji in gold doesn't match that comes on the bike. :banghead:
Trust me...I've looked at every lever that's offered in gold out there.
Very tiring.

I'm not a fan of gold wheels!

If anyone have oem black wheels from a K8 and want to trade for gold wheels - please PM me.

I have both gold and black wheels (not at the same time...) and think both are quite nice. The gold wheels are on at the moment and looks good on a orange/black Busa.

You can see how I voted. I actually still like the gold but the black looks better IMO. Next thing on the list is to get a black kanji from tapeworks.com

Gold rims was a big seller for me, I was getting tired of the same old black rims on all of my bikes. I have been considering polishing the outer lips and leaving the centers gold, just to give them a little bling. Anyone done that yet?

Most wheel colors look good in and of themselves. As long as they aren't out of place on the particular color/theme/design of the rest of the bikes aesthetics, gold wheels are fine.
