Hey thanks Warbird. I appreciate the thought put into your post. The chain will be replaced, but is not at the top of my list at this point. However a new full exhaust system is. But as I mentioned before....I need to replenish the pennies in the piggy bank 1st.
While I'd love to have the new 1k Gixxer's Big Piston forks. I think changing something that major, just to get a closer color match, may be a bit over kill.
Plus I am unsure those would even swap cleanly over to a Busa. Especially w/ the added weight difference. I now the calipers will, but don't think the forks would. But it's some thing to look into.

gold reminds me of the old 12's

I don't like black either. Kinda wish the white would come back but that's just a semi old skool look.

I like the silver, grey, titanium colored wheels. CF of course is always sexy but actually it tends to just look like black wheels from a distance. I was never fond of heavy chrome either but some bikes really look good with some bling.

Very good looking wheels...but I would have to agree with Commuta, I don't have faith in them for taking much abuse yet~!~

You need a good wheel that can drop the front end at 148 and still roll sound~!~ LoL
