Today the administration took funding away from the finest university in the country, because they refused to take away their student's First Amendment rights. If the forum consensus opinion here is that makes America great, it's probably best that we go our own ways.

You and Zerks are the ones keeping this going, so highly intellectual, I have no chance to compete.
Freedom of speech is democratic, so is freedom of the Administration to decide how to best spend our tax money. Neither contravene the first amendment.
It would have been nice to have an intellectual discussion regarding the letter content sent to Alan Garber, by the administration, which initiated your rant. But you are so much smarter than me, it is not even an option. Your common sense coupled with pessimism is simply overwhelming.
Best you and Zerks continue this, two twins joined in intellectual capacity way beyond my comprehension.

Those are your two “explanations?” You go on and on about intelligence and don’t use your own. How does mentioning the letter, spewing your opinion, or even worse, blaming Harvard for simply honoring a person or people’s rights, in any way constitute an explanation?
