Really nice pictures of some really cool bikes.

Really nice pictures of some really cool bikes.
Thanks, I was keen to share them with the forum members, here's one you won't see anywhere else in the world . . .

owned by a friend of mine, a "Norumph 900", a Triumph Bonneville chassis with Norton Commando motor bored from 750cc to 900cc, goes really really well. He chased me one day and he was sitting consistently on 100-110mph everywhere! (until I turned up the wick a bit on a straight and saw him fade to a dot in my rear view mirror lol.
He's a talented engineer with a great home workshop and he builds all his own bikes, he has a few other one off creations as well.

I saw the picture and thought to myself that's a custom job right there as the tank is not a typical Norton design. Good way to keep an interest in the old bikes. Shifting on the right always messed me up....Anytime my brother let me ride his Commando or BSA, I'd hit the brake thinking it was the shifter

My brother on his old Norton Commando when we lived in Detroit.

Cool, what an awesome retro picture...

I will have to look to see if I have a picture of my brother with one of his old bikes now.

My brother's Commando was a High Rider version which I am told was rare. He sold it for 2 BSAs many years ago, still has the BSAs
I never heard of a high rider. Post it up. My brother started on BSA, then Triumph, Norton and then Yamaha and other makes. toward the end he had an Indian, Royal Enfield replica, and a Harley. He got me into riding.

That's a beauty (I mean the bike...lol) Your brother reminds me of my brother, always has some sort of tool working on something.

We would be best served to use our Youtube resource.....

@RedBull think you can find a Norton High Rider...

Took the concours out for a 300 plus mile ride on Thursday. Redbusarider joined me on his concours and we had a good day in the backwoods of Florida. Stopped at the cross Florida barge canal, which was never completed and is now home to a lot of wildlife and had some tasty beef brisket at the backwoods smokehouse. We then took the black bear scenic byway through ocala’s national forest and stopped by silver springs for a ride on the glass bottom boats. Temp gauge never read higher than 84’f and we had nice clear skies. Also saw some of @sixpack577 favorite animal.............. gators. we were told the “boss” of the springs is 14ft long lizard.

Great pics Mabupa, thanks for sharing those, Florida looks like such an interesting place, the flora and fauna is unique, I've never been to a big swamp lmao! Would love to though . . .
That Smokehouse looks cool, pity about the TV up on the wall, kinda ruins the authenticity of the place, also that cheesy neon 'OPEN' sign in the window, but it's a real piece of history.

When you come to visit the USA, a glass bottom boat ride and also an airboat ride through the swamp should be on your to do list. As for the tv at the smokehouse, I agree. It looked out of place and I couldn’t tell you what was showing, because I was too busy looking at all the antiques and reading the funny signs. Wish I would’ve taken pics of the signs, they were pretty funny.
