So you were able to put a comfort handle bar kit on the 1K without trimming fairing like on the Hayabusa's ? That is very cool !! What does the 1 K weigh in at ?

Direct bolt on with no modifications needed, more upright than the Busa. She weighs 197.4kgs wet at the moment but goodies are already here for it.

380kms ride prior to work which was mostly in the dark, the headlight on the GSXR is exceptional and sounds orgasmic on full song, so much so it’s become the daily.

3214kms since owning it.

I'd say the majority of Suzuki's R&D went into the GSXR platform, they want to get that bike right and seem to have done their job.

To some extent,there is minor flaws like the shitty oem quick shifter that is far from smooth or quick and the fly by wire throttle is way too sensitive. All will be rectified when I can book dyno time here at work which is roughly 4-5 weeks.

166.5 miles today . Tianne and I met a guy named Milt on a GS1200 LOW . He said our bikes looked like they just came out of the box . He is 84 and still touring alot across the country. Montana, Wyoming, Utah. He was also shocked on my motorcycle knowledge. Took him to school on FJR1300's as he's considered one in his future. @fallenarch he has 26,xxx trouble free miles on his GS1200 . Here are today's photos.

Would like to mention RJ ran OUTSTANDING after all the service . He always runs tops but today was like a Pro on his best day .

Lol, I did about 16 miles today rode the bike to a friends house and back more miles coming on a consistent basis in a few weeks

I took the ‘99 to Kaikoura and back yesterday, 492km round trip, ran beautifully, great weather, great friends.
Life is good!

The stock OEM mirrors on my '99 never shake, rattle or roll . . ever.
Always a crystal clear reflection of the rear.
Those little bar end mirrors of Bryan's are surprisingly good quality . . mind you, I'd expect nothing less of @c10 lol.

5.2 miles round trip to ship Hayabusa parts to @04LE . It was nice with a max speed of 38 mph . Really made me feel good just putting along . Work was a MONDAY !
Package wouldn't fit so zip tied the givi bag closed.
