Splitting traffic, on a 3 lane Motorway (inbetween middle and outside) traffic is stationary, the odd prat trying to squeeze us out, nothing that a high beam and the occasional throttle blip doesn't sort out. I love this stuff so I'm in front, see its my turn off 2 lanes to the left, a small gap appears, what, about 4 feet in the left lane, I stand on the back brake, lock it right up, get it sideways so that I can get into the gap, across the traffic and into the next lane, and I see Pooh nearly climbing In my Hump!!

ha ha ha

Suppose I should have warned him, I was good for the rest of the trip, tripple back lights before braking, that sort of stuff.... we all survived and Pooh had the situation well under control eh Pooh?? It wasn't that bad, we were only going about 30 mph..

We were all running crap times - there wasn't much grip and it was quite windy. (excuses excuses)

I think the end result was....
1st) GasaBusa on Pooh's bike with a late 9.
2nd) Pooh with a 10.2
3rd) Me (I think) with a 10.6 (133MPH) on my stocker - eventually after running pretty embarressing times! but then I started stringing a few pretty consistant mid to late tens toward the end (getting over my hangover! - well that's my excuse!)

Dunno about the others we'll have to post our tickets or something!


For comparison my brother ran 11.4 on his stock TL1000S at 122MPH - so being less than a second behind me shows the trouble I was having launching! My 60ft times were terrible (1.9s!)

And yes the Brock Mod CycleStuff sent me over 6 months ago is still sitting there in the packet unfitted! - how lazy is that?

Basically like DM said, but of course the best bit happened before he got there. My first run was against a ZX12, which I won convincingly I'm glad to say.

I'm sure Numb is typing his report as we speak.

If you dont mind me asking, Pooh, how much did the high-compression mod cost you. I presume that GASABUSA did the trick,yes?
 
A bit hard to tell Tangram as it was "all in" with a few other things.

The pistons are about £450 and then labour and parts on top, another £400 ??? Phone Gasabusa and ask for details.
