I have owned a 750 as well and I would have to see this one to beleive it... I am not saying it is impossible, but those 750s are real fast to begin with... I just can't imagine "toying" with the 750 when I am on the Harley...

I smell exaggeration here... Since you just joined, I am not sure I can beleive this one...

You gotta be careful, guys....some of the big inch customs in these parts can put down some pretty quick 1/8 times.....if you're not paying attention, that big oil leaker at the light next to you may show you some taillight before you reel him in!

I think that anyone who rides anything and spends the time and money to make it faster is cool in my book.

I'm qoutin' myself here for emphasis....be careful kids....there are some badass big inch twins out there laying down 170+ ponies.....hook that to a 250 rear and a decent rider and you got a real stoplight drag on your hands!!

what i mean is he must put a lot of money in his hd to make it faster than a gsxr. might not even be street legal like some of the cars that beats bikes. but i'm with some of the busa riders here, sounds fishy. got to see it to believe it.

what i'm saying is why post that story when we all know only a seriously built up hd can out run a gsxr. i bet it's a real good feeling when you pull away knowing you're faster to begin with. woohoo, that n2o, turbo bike just beat a stock bike, like you say, "give me a break". it's like us busa riders going to a hd forum and brag about how we beat a hd with our busas. wrong dude, i don't race cheaters or waste my energy on someone i know will beat, i'll only race the real racers at the track.

you can run whatever mods you want on your bike, don't trip. my point is compare apples to apples, not apples to oranges because a race doesn't do anything for me if the outcome is already given or if one has an unfair advantage. if the story is legit, i can see the hd guy bragging to his hd buddies about beating a gsxr even though he puts a lot more money in his ride and he and his buddy would still be proud about it.

Seen it for myself, local harley guy (guru) he and his wife were on the bike.  Pulls up to a gsxr750 and asks if you want to run them. The 750 driver kinda laugh and said sure how far.
HD guy say doesn't matter, they pick a run of about 1 mile.
The race was over after 50' the HD just toyed  with the 750,  pulling ahead by at least 150' or so then slowing down to let the 750 catch up. One bad HD for sure...some of those strokers are nothing to mess with.

I never said the HD was stock or not, I did say it was a stroker. If that matter the GSXR isn't what one would call just a stock bike from the factory. Just thought of passing on what I saw with my own eyes. And yes there are stokers they will toy with the busa too.

Plain and simple a street race is just that a street race...If the guy on the Gixxer couldn't tell that the Hardly was built by just listening to it than he wasn't and probably aint much of a rider or a bike enthusiast anyway..In street racing where I come from you win or lose...Regardless weather its a built Hardly Davidson{hardly meaning hardly a motorcycle

]or a built Busa The key is KNOW what your racing on the street or DON'T race at all...just my oppinion...Be careful lots of fast bikes out on the street don't kid yourself, just because we own Busa' don't mean there isn't something faster. The one you least expect is the one to look out for..I enjoy all brands..even the Heavy Duty..Be Cool and Safe

Street race fans......... Run what you brung! If you want a fair race take it to the track. I'm sure they can find a class where everything is even. As for me cudo's to HD, anything with enough power to match a Zuke earns my respect. Never forget, there is always someone faster......

there is no cheating in racing / only winners and losers when it comes to street racing . If the 750 didnt know any better then he deserved to get his ass handed to him on a platter . If he's that slow have him come over my way with a pocket full of cash. I will gladly help him lighten his load .

i beg the differ, when one have steroids and the dont', it's still cheating regardless of where the race took place.  now, if the one on steriods announce that he's on steriods and the other one still wants to go for it because he's cocky than there's no cheating.

That is not cheating either, go to a track and tell the guys with turbos and nos that there cheating and the will just laugh and take the money on the first place platter. The only thing with mods are that if you loose you someone modded then you can tell everyone its only because hes modded. If you loose because you got a bad jump then there's another scape goat, get real when I get whooped by a modded 83' honda peace of crap with 8 grand in the engine I don't cry, I say holy crap, I wish had have of what you've done to yours. There are winners and losers, its going to happen, take it like a man. Leave it on the street not when your standing on you feet, keep the wind to your back, don't piss in the wind and ride. LOL (ok that was stupid, but funny huh) lol.
