Why I Love This Board....

Hey guys! Looks like I'm a little late to the party... I spent the afternoon in New Orleans, and just now got a room in Hattiesburg, MS. As a side note, it's insane how much a Busa can heat a motel room when you bring her in hot from the interstate!

My little trip has been a lot of fun so far. I had a great time yesterday with Dawn & Randy. They kindly fed me, gave me a place to rest, and we shared some laughs. The visit was a big bonus on my trip, and I feel blessed to have great friends like them. I can't believe Dawn failed to mention this Texas room to me... I'll know to look for it next time.

I would update everyone on my plans, but I really don't have any. Ill probably head for home tomorrow and get back to my regularly scheduled programming. I'm missing my lady pretty dang bad! So far this has been a great experience, and I can't wait to do it again.

You get pics of everything Daniel, I wanna see the pics,of the Busa in the room with ya.

I agree with Randy; I've never been able to just relax, sit on a my bike at the driveway with a full tank of gas and gear, and just let the bike wander for a couple of days....It's nice that you are able to do that Daniel it will help keep you sane.

Hey all! I rode about 500 miles yesterday and got home at 5:45 pm after a quick stop by Barber Motorsports Park.

I'll try to get a report posted soon. :beerchug:

One of these days you oughta think about RIDING Barber instead of just stopping by :beerchug:

You make an excellent point... I'm becoming a professional stopper-byer...

I never even considered that my route would take me right by it, and I couldn't just pass it up.

Beautiful, isn't it?

Charlie and I will be down there doing a trackday in about 2 weeks, you oughtta ride down!

The next few weeks are going to be crazy for me, but I certainly will if I have the time. :beerchug:

you've got to try it out, take my word that you will be hooked...there is no better feeling than just wandering down a new road, completely lost, and stopping wherever the mood strikes...if you see something that makes you go "hmmm, wonder what that is?", just take the turn and find out...i've met some of the coolest people and seen some amazing sights doing just that!

ChattanoogaBusa, if you ever get free and come through this area, i'd consider it a priviledge to be able to travel with you for a little while...it's always fun to share the road with someone else who loves to wander as much as you :beerchug:

Thanks, Semi! I'd love to come up for a visit sometime. Maybe I can talk some other members into an Ironbutt ride one of these days. :beerchug:

RandyMan, did you wave goodbye and say "Yall come on back now,,, ,,,,,,,,,,, ya heah"?

Daniel, I am so envious of you my man! I so love to throw a leg over my favorite bike and hit the bricks not having a destination nor a plan! I want you to know I'm living precariously through you!

Enjoy your trip as you are an extention of us all! :beerchug:
