Well, its March now! The board went great and I knew I scored well. I didnt get the promotion. The pulled the usuall political crap and promoted a political hack with no qualifications and less seniority. I grieved it.
I just got the call. I'm a Lt. now!!! I scored very high and knocked some 18-20 year guys out. I get my seniority and promotion date of November 2008 and everyone promoted that day has to redraw for seniority. My head is spinning, they have not fully opened that facility yet as planned so I may be at my current institution or be farmed out somewhere else in the state. Oh well, its good news for me!!!

Congrats on the promotion. Next question since the promotion was retro, was the pay retro as well? Always nice to get those catch up checks.
If they farm you out and you end up on the south end of the state look me up. Not much down here but the cost of living is cheaper.

I talked to Chris on the phone and yes to the back pay all the way back to November..
