Did someone say Luau time or Miller time,I think we have a good board with good members and ALOT of Knowledge, and if we dig deep enough I think everybody has the Aloha spirit inside of them some people are to manly to show it but no big thing, some day we'll all meet and have a BIG Laugh.Ride Safe

This is like watching insects trapped in a small jar. Things were definetly more interesting here when there were "trash posters" and "hate posters".

Hey Maui,I think you forgot one.Yourself.Possibly the BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER,or THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD.Something to think about while you are riding on your (fantasy Busa)..LOL. My post wasn't directed at anyone in particular, just a suggestion.Maybe you just thought it was directed towards you,and if that is the case there must be some merit to the post.As far as education goes (as you put it)I don't see the problem,if you would check around your area on the island you would see the ones that have education own the businesses, larger houses, better cars, and ultimate motorcycles. So whats the problem with education?Usually those that don't have something, want it,but are not willing to make the transition to aquire it.So in essence those people have a tendancy to make statements of a negative nature.Personally I don't have a problem with you, It"s the way that the pack of wolves, just a few like to slam some of the members for an opinion, when they don't even have a bike that this site was created for & supports..

Kevtec
You remind me of a good friend of mine. Every other time we saw each other we would fight. Not verbally, but psychically. And every time we saw each other, we'd be glad to see each other. It was the damnedest friendship I ever had. Even after a fight, we'd leave as friends (well most of the time). He died about three months ago in a plane crash. He was the pilot (about 53 yr. old, I believe he had over 12,000 hours flight time). And he had 9 passengers. If he had worked for Egypt Air, their plane would have landed safe cause he could kick the idiot's *** and fly the plane at the same time. He was the kind of guy who'd look out the window at an engine fire and say we might be about 45 minutes late. It was just his time to go. And no, I'm not looking for another friend like that as the *** kicking part takes longer to recover from.

I've a great deal of respect for your skills and training. And hope to have a stumper of a question for you some day. If we ever met in person, we'd probably get along pretty good. You seem like a stand up and fight for what you believe in kind of guy. That's cool, we need guys like that in the world. There are enough sheep. You speak your mind and that has a caring affect for others that don't. I don't want you to scale back your opinions at all. I agree with them sometimes. If I don't agree with them, that's fine too. Sometimes we just comment on the strangest things around here.

The little Martian guy was one of the all time best characters! That's what makes part of this site run. The goofy, maladjusted, psychopaths, that comment here.

Now who would Ninjaknight be? (the coyote?)

Maui,
did you say sheep?
One of the 4 great told lies here in Maine
"honest judge, I was just trying to help
that sheep over the fence"

Glad were all back to normal.whatever that is..lol.Anyway I was told by DP that some members are having problems when multiple files are sent that they have problems opening them up.This usually happens when a zip file with multiple attachments is sent.It comes in as a mime format.Usually it happens with microsoft outlook when sending to another isp, but I have seen it happen with other mailing programs.Fear not,(my new leaf)Kevtec has the solution. It's a mime decoder. It will automatically decode mime formats that you can't normally open, and make them into jpgs so you can view them with whatever picture viewer you chose. So if anyone is having problems with this issue e-mail me KTEK104@AOL.COM.. I will send you the decoder, plus simple instructions to make it work.It sounds difficult, but actually is very is to do.L8TR

NK has a point...except for that insect jar **** which I consider a personal insult to my maggot collection.

A labusas.org forum (as offered above) would welcome "trash" and "hate" posts, even encourage them as long as they were mixed with anti-social motorcycle filth, grease, drugs, sex, rubber smoke and a dash of techtalk...right Duc? Probably Ranger's place would too.

Over the time I've been involved here I've come to believe that a totally open forum is best, including the fights and reconciliations that are a necessary part of free speech. The censorship and restricted membership have only created a bunch of long-term and subtle communications problems for us.

And I just hate having to measure my language against Disneyland standards all the time.

Cisco…………..luau time!

btw
Turbo Rick has definitely locked up the road runner position in my book

I am probably more into street/strip muscle cars than Motorcycles and currently own a '68 GTO. I frequent the classicalpontiac site and find it very informative, more than this site as far as technical expertise.
Anyway, the site started like this one, but it had its share of pests. The site now requires you to fill out some basic information--user name, e-mail address, etc in order to participate in the Question & Answer area, or to post classified.
Once you complete the form the site sends you via e-mail your password. This way there is control by the provider to remove a member, if needed. And, double screen names is not possible. The site is much more interesting now and still receives new members and some get booted, buts its controlled.
This will cost time and money and maybe Chase just can't get to it for the time being. He did indicate to patient the last time we questioned what was next for the site.

Well I just found out that I wasted 6 yrs going to college, when all I had to do was go to high school,to achieve my goals.Man where were you at $200,000 ago?I blew all that money to get my degree, only to find out that I could have made it on regular school.I must have been absent that day when we discussed that issue.I will agree on one issue , that book smart is useless, unless you know how to apply what's in your head to your hands.Practical experience I find is great,I feel that excellerating it through training molds a person , like a fine oiled machine.

I've got a lot more education than you KEVTEC, and I've made some money. But the people in this world who make the real money are by and large without advanced formal education.

There is an inverse correlation between education and income at the upper income ($500K+) and net worth ($1MM+) levels.

My point remains and has just been proven once more. School don't make you rich or nice.

Yeah,
All the foul elements that make it LA-
Were looking into the viability of a LAbusas.org board. If you sent pictures they should be up now. Check it out-

You are right, DP, that is called old money, passed on from previous generations, you know, (born with a gold spoon in ones mouth). As far as your point, what point?I don't believe that there was a mention of being nice involved here.I don't seem to get your point,I didn't say anything in reguards to your education, nor income, you brought it to yourself. So again I ask myself what is your point PETE?I bust my *** daily to get where I want to be,not by playing posting tag with someone that sits back just waiting to jump, when the issue wasn't even directed to you.Like I said the pack of wolves ride again, but you see I'm different than your followers ,i'm not a follower, I lead the way for myself, and it's not sitting behind a keyboard coming to everyones rescue. That's about as nice as you can get it Pete.

The issue you don't seem to "get" KECTEC is you attacking Maui, a person who contributes far more than you to our mechanical knowledge and enjoyment of this forum.

Who's next?

It is not my job to defend others. Maui can do just fine for himself. But you're way out of line on this and Maui ought not to be put in the position of having to defending himself against you. He is not an attack dog, far from it. You owe him an apology.

BTW I have no followers, and I don't follow anybody.

Hey, who needs a KEVTEC/DP war(especially about nonsense) on the Hayabusa forum ? Swap e-mail addresses and have at it.
