Windshield vibration fix??

I've heard that electircal tape along the edges is the way to go ... haven't had to do it myself though.

Try some clear silicone. I haven't tried it but should work I put tape on my DB windsceen and no vibrations but if it starts to I am going to try the silicone trick.

Go to your local hardware store and buy some window foam (comes on a roll). Should have sticky stuff on one side, don't use the really thick stuff.......

Electrical tape works fine just put enough layers on the tabs of the windscreen that it feel snug when you push it back in place. I actually used screen spline (the stuff that holds the screen tight on the windows in your house.) I tried the rubber stuff first but it seemed a little too tight so I bought the rigid foam spline from Lowe's and it worked great. Hope this helps.

I tried electrical tape in one layer, and then 2, neither worked.  Then I tried 2 layers of that black cloth type electrical tape called friction tape.  That worked like a charm.

I'm now an expert at removing and reinstalling the windshield.  Definitely easier to remove the 2 inner push pin rivits and then pull the black rubber well-nuts through from the inside.  Lubing the well-nuts with DW40 allows them to slide back in from the outside pretty easy.
