I have owned BSTs and Carrozzerias. I don't know about the others. Certainly Marchesinis have a great reputation. I believe if the wheels have DOT approval, they meet some miniumum safety requirements (and by extension, those of durability). When I was shopping, I don't recall seeing any 'red flags' for any of the brands mentioned, regarding safety/durability. There might be issues, but I didn't find them, searching the Net over the course of a month, or two. The thing I focused on was the lightest weight for the least amount of money. For me that turned out to be Carrozerias, purchased from the board sponsor GPW. BSTs are great. But they also eat up the better part of four grand, once you get new tires, and everything balanced and mounted. I was in these wheels for a LOT less than that. I suspect the BSTs might provide another level of handling/performance beyond these. But what these provided, the improvements, are fine for what I use the bike for--commuting, and street riding. As I've said elsewhere (er, several times...sorry) is these wheels provided a noticeable handling improvement for the 'Busa. In short, they make it feel like a smaller bike when you're rolling.
