winter gloves

Well you COULD use a ski glove, I know, I know...my bad.  I just purchased a pair of Dainese Guanto Ziong D-Dry off ebay from a place in Colorado.  $50, or so, and they seem to be the nicest piece of cold-weather glove I've purchased in a long time.  Windproof, waterproof, and much warmer than any leather / insulated I've had thus far.  I little mushy in the fingers, but more than enough grab for everything I do.......I'll keep ya posted......

How thick are they ? I want a warm thin glove, if there is such a thing ?
Well, they're about as thick as my new Hellraisers (Dainese), or my old Frank Thomas gloves. For a moto / winter glove they're pretty medium. They're not as bulbous or thick as my Grandoe Goretex two-piece / insert, and those are the toastiest thing in the world.......just kind of clumsy on the controls......I just like really toasty fingers myself.....those ones above, so far, are pretty toasty...I'll keep ya posted....

I don't mind riding in the cold; in fact, I ride every day to work but ice and snow is another matter especially when you have a vehicle with f-o-u-r wheels.

(Update) So far: 38 degrees @140+, toasty and no cold seep.......I got jerked (Surprise flyby) by some squid the other night and attempted to put him in his place, closing "real" fast when a NHP happened to be along the side giving "someone else" a ticket....should have seen his rearend and those brake lights....."Hey, I was just looking to return the favor"......

Normally at 200am, it's just me and the road....and occasionally, a hottie in a blue viper..... more to come.....
