Well, I took on a winter project that I was reluctant to do, although the results (in my mind) would have been awesome.
I put my hands to work and with the help of a friend of mine, we replaced my stock swingarm with a 6" over powdercoated swingarm. We also got rid of the brake bar, with an aftermarket eliminator, I cut the "shovel" off, replaced the stock for a smoked LED integrated tail light + additional LED turn signals behind the rear foot pegs and lastly, adjustable rear lowering links.
Next I will be installing a pc3 and perhaps gut my RS3 Yoshimura pipes and wrap the perforated pipes making them straight.
Does anyone have experience with this project? What map should I download for straight pipes?
I absolutely love the results and I am open to comments.
