Wish that bolt didn't fall out

If a girl that hot wanted to ride I would put her on the bike naked if I had too :poke:

I think I got it all ordered and on the way, thanks for the help guys, Ill say hi to my friend for ya's too:laugh:

As already said are you a little worried that someone actually did that? When I changed over my levers recently that little bolt was threaded through and also kinda a pain to get out. To think the nut backed off AND it came up and out is definately unique

Frog I had the same exact thing happen to me on one of the twisitest roads around here, the nut came off and the bolt up and out throught the top. I had to ride and shift down the mountain with no lever. Had to slow at couple of stops signs, put it in neutral looked for cars and back into gear until I got to a friends a few miles away. Definately not easy.......when you put the new one back on put a little bit of blue loc-tite on there and you will be good.

Nice looking date.....

I still have no idea wtf part you're talking about lol. I have a rearset and levers if it's a part in there.

Yeah you can clutchless shift like others have said, until you need to come to a full stop. :poke: You're screwed w/o a clutch.

that sucks! Was at the beach Monday and had my spare key instead of my usual roadlok keys. well, after getting salted and ironed out, come time to go home, i realized i had locked my disc but didnt have the key!! end of story.

You could have shifted into neutral. These bikes go in N real easy and can be shifted clutchless if done right.Good that you didnt wipe out with her wearing shorts.Bad bad bad:poke:

sorry no bushing, prob get there faster anyway if you ordered one,
i like riding 2 up like that, especially when u hit a low valley and it gets cold:thumbsup:

Gotta agree...of all the things that can go wrong on a bike, losing your clutch cable has got to be one of the least dangerous. With a little throttle and brake control, it might have even been possible for you to turn around, and ride the thing back home. Not good for the clutch, but do-able. Stops/starts would have been tricky, but manageable.

ATGATT!

I definitely got complacent about gear, I was all about it earlier in the year. This one kept having less and less on, and we/she almost paid the price. Lesson learned for sure. Now I just gotta figure how to talk a girl into putting pants on.
