Woman's Leg Partially Amputated, Man Arrested After Pit Bull Attack

wasnt this a thread about another Jacka** owner of a PIT BULL *a real one, not-for-fake* that mutilated some poor old feeble WOMAN ??(who, Im sure, must have angered the animal and provoked it in some way first...Pits are NEVER known to attack strangers:rofl: )
-all that media coverage is just paid for by owners of Shihtzus and Cocker Spaniels and Poodles who want Pit Bulls wiped off the face of the planet:laugh:

:rofl::rofl:

Well thats because those other dogs don't have the capabilities to kill a human like the Pit Bulls do.

Thats what happens when you have backyard breeders having way too many pups who come from dogs with bad temperaments. They are sold to any Joe Schmoe who has some cash and then these losers either use them as bait dogs or they pump them full of steroids and use them for carnage. If ANY other dog had the ability to do what the APBT could do, you bet they'd be hated for the actions of human beings too!

I could argue til I'm blue in the face...some people just won't ever get it.

i laff cuz that must be a Joke...you're not tryin to compare Black men to Pit Bulls...

because I thought I just got done saying-that Pit Bulls are only associated with men of tiny stature-the key here, being the HEIGHT-not the skin color...mebbe u werent reading MY post...Im sorry-shouldnt have responded in the first place...Im just babbling on here:whistle:

c'mon peeps-for realz??? what is there to argue about?? Pits are given the stigmata for GOOD reason-if you own a Pit and it makes you mad-go bite Mike Vick:thumbsup:
My thoughts also.???

I look out 4 them on the job.I have go in peoples yards.

One ever atacks me its game over pit bull .I stay prepared.

Then me and the I need a tough dog owner going have a 1 on 1 conversation.

I pack a high pressure gas hose -45 degree prob slow it down so I can draw my weapon.

One attacks I KNOW I have the right 2 end the critter.

AND.... Cue the Owners of the High Quality "not like other Pit Bulls" crowd....

OF COURSE IT'S JUST HYPE!!!

Wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with the OVERWHELMING LACK of Deaths and serious injuries resulting from oh I dunno... Spaniels, retrievers, All those NON-Ego Dogs...

Bro dont turn blue....c'mon your bike is tight enuf, you dont need to color-match your FACE to it!:poke:
smilin yet??

ok-now, please understand I have MANY friends w/Pitts (Revolution has a BEEEEEa-Utiful Blue-n-white baby he just picked up last year:bowdown:) but I dont know any of them that would say "oh, Pitts are completely harmelss dogs, nothing to worry about here." because?? well-Pitts are bred (unfortunately) for their aggressive tendencies, have been for over a century. I had one very close friend who owned a Grand Champion Bloodline Rednose that was loyal and friendly as could be...until he moved to Cali, went for a walk up some mountains and another dog (off leash-I know where you're comin from Suzi4Life...) walked up-other dog never walked away, and my buddy got 13 stitches and put the dog down.

You just cant argue that "other breeds" are as 'dangerous' as Pitt Bull terriers. Sorry-I do agree a Great Dane with a bad attitude would definitely wreak 10x as much damage to a person or property-but when is the last time you heard about a "Bloodthirsty Great Dane swallows small child's hand in one gulp."??? Owners account for 99% of the responsiblity in a Dog attack-but you cant say the dog 'just dint know better' and was doing what it felt was right-I seen plenty other breeds with a strange pooch 4' from their nose, and both dogs just kept barking at each other-not trying to maul each other.

The problem with Pitt Bulls (IMO-which is worth about oh...nuthin:moon:) is the owners-100%...IF the uber-aggressive dogs were kept n trained by skilled professionals and raised properly Im sure the dogs could be controlled-and with some careful planning, Pitts could be bred to promote the more docile-kind of Pitts...but that will require everyone who buys a Pitt Bull to be SMART, CARING, RESPONSIBLE, and knowledgeable about their breed.

which has about as much chance of happening as me shrinking 10" in height...

'course, then I might wana go out n 'git me a Pitt' so's I can look all bad-azz walkn him on a chain leash with a big spiked coller that sez "Cujo" on it:moon:

Pits are beautiful dogs.. I won't keep one though. Even though I am a big guy who would "look" right with a rott or pit, I prefer smaller terrier type breeds. Call me names if you want to but I will happily walk my small leashed dog around without worrying how fruity it looks.

i want another 'Dane but my allowance is too small right now...
all I could afford was this:laugh:

Merry Xmas, Honey!:cheerleader:

once again...when you hear reports of these attacks, do you see pictures of the dog? Because every dog once it attacks or bites someone is a pitt bull in the media's eyes. I remember the media covering a large snake...a boa constrictor being removed from a person's house. LEO used a stun gun on it because it "attacked" an officer and they used the gun to release the bite  ( I bet the cop enjoyed the blunt of the stun if anyone knows how they work). My point, it was a python...not a boa. Article could've easily said "snake" but they use "boa" to instill fear and hate. Its called "stereotyping"

I remember a pitt bull attack here in PA....2 dogs attacked a mail carrier. First her and then her car. They systematically attacked her tires to keep her from leaving the property. Then attacked the police car in the same way. Wow genius killer pitt bull's who couldn't figure out how to get past an invisible fence but could disable 2 cars at a whim.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

sad thing is that people actually believe it.

I have 3 of these beautiful dogs right now and I also help in the rescue of these dogs in Atlanta, I work with various people around here and try to help as many of them as I can. I have two boys and 1 girl, Prince, Cocoa, & Ceasar...those dogs are family and I havent had anybody not love them after they met and interact with them, unfortunately you always have some jackazz who neglects their dog and the dog turns out to be aggresive...i know i would be pissed too if i was tied up on a 3 foot chain and had to sit in my sh** all day...well for ur viewing pleasure, here are pics of my 3 slightly different looking family members ...theres 4 pics so hold ur comments

I had 2 girls and they went to a kennel for a weekend in 03. I told the owner that they needed to be kept together or they would cry the entire weekend, but under no circumstance should he enter the cage to break up their fighting. No biggie he said. When I came back on Monday to get the dogs, the owner was laughing. He said they fought and he was sure they were gonna kill one another. Growling, fighting and snapping but never once did one draw blood. Once wound down they cuddled like 2 newborns.
They play rougher than anyone expects. They forgive and expect very little for their loyalty. And I have never found another breed as loyal or sweet.

First let me say I'm in no way trying to pick a fight or make you angry! This is just my oppinion...

yeah this is a problem when they play with other animals because they end up killing them.....let me just say this if you think Pitts are so great why don't we let you go knock on that guys door in Indianapolis and see what happens.....I know Pitts are loyal and kind Etc I have friends who have them, and I love the dogs too, but I still wouldn't want to see one come running @ me just because i walked down the wrong street one day...like so many of these cases the dogs break out of there doors or fences and chase people and other dogs down, and almost always they aren't ever even being provoked in any way at all, we have all seen video footage...you cant dispute that, I watch animal cops every weekend too....It's not always that they are raised wrong either, Pitts where breed to fight for many years, its a inherited behavior, just because they don't do it today doesn't mean they wont someday, like say when the dog has a headache or is getting older and more aggressive..etc...so keep your Pitts if I come visit I'd love to meet them, pet them etc, But if one bits me I hope you have lots of insurance....as for Micheal Vick I'm pretty sure he had Presa Canari's not Pitts or maybe both but I know someone who rescued one of those dogs and its a Presa....they look alot like a Pitt but are about 5 inchs taller and 80#s heavier...anyway, I hope you continue to have good luck with your dogs it sounds like you have done a good job with them so far, I love all dogs and wouldnt want to see anyones rights to them be takin away...:beerchug:

ive owned pitbulls for 17 years, you could not make one of my dogs bite a human if you tried!!! DONT let the media fool you , they call every dog that hurts a person a pitbull. Thier is only one american pit bull terrier and it is not a human aggressive dog. Its the *******s that force them to be aggressive that are hurting this breed. i swear to god id die for my dog, because i know the breed is awsome. If the breed was what the media made it out to be id never own one but its all bull****!!!

Hey Lalo... Cocoa is beautiful, I'd love to keep one like that.

Just A Busa Girl, Your Red Nose Pit is awesome, you can see the gentleness and curiousity in it's eyes..

I knew you'd come across this Busa girl!!

Big D,

It did make me smile, thanks!:beerchug: I'm not here to say that someone is wrong for their opinion on pits, I'm just saying that its wrong to say that pits are dangerous dogs because thats what they hear on the news and have never experienced them first hand.

Like Busa Girl said, APBT's are not human aggressive. They were bred to have a very strong prey drive and thats why they can be very dog aggressive. I had believed the stereotype until I got one, totally turned my way of thinking around. Our neighbors have 2 border collies and Daisy would play all day with them. Sometimes she did get rough with her body checking them but not once did she ever use teeth. The only time I've ever seen Daisy show teeth is when Duke would try to take her bone or her toy, and it was just a warning, the same way every dog does it.

Let me share some great examples of how vicious these dogs are
