Hi,
I recently did the airbox mod, and thus got a woolich to flash my Bking with an unrestricted busa map. First I tried an Australian ECU from the list in order to flash it (as my bike is from that region) however after the flash the immobilizer light came on and wouldn't start, no ignition nothing. So I selected an ecu with no region and applied the map.
This worked, gave me ignition and the bike started and so I thought happy days. Today I go to take it for a ride. As I'm letting it warm up the fans kick in and the dash is reading full hot (its only like 65 degrees here and I was in the shade). I figured something with ecu take it for a spin round the block and see if things settle down. Literally 2 minutes into the ride the dash goes dead, and the immobilizer light starts to flash.
I get home turn the bike off, it won't start, no ignition nothing. I push the bike in the garage put it back on the stand plug the trickle charger on, turn key to check ignition, now I have ignition and the bike will start but the dash is still dead and the immobilizer light starts flashing ?
I figure its not liking the ecu map, but it makes no sense why it will start and simply kill the dash, I would of thought it wouldn't start at all ?
