Working on a plug and play gear indicator

Still in the messing around stages, but so far it plugs into your gps sensor (no more removing it for my gear indicators LOL)

It will also do the 1N23455 mod, or if you really want it could do the TRE mod.

It will also supply 6 gear based ground outputs to trigger boost or nitrous control solenoids.

The mounting of the gear indicator will be nothing like this, have to find a way to make it pretty, really wanna do a nice billet housing.

The plastic case i have it setting in is 1 inch tall, the actual character is about 1/2", i think its a good size for the top of the dash.

Video in the garage (pouring rain right now)

Do you have something in the works for a plug and play deristrictor for the 08's that reads 123455 that you can turn on and off?

busawizard this could be used for what you want, at the moment i dont have provisions to leave the bike restricted, i suppose i could try and make it work for guysn ot wanting adisplay just a way to de-restrict 6th egar only with a switch, ill have to think about it, trying to avoid having a million combinations LOL

I was hoping you where going to take on this project. Ive been meaning to put one together for a few weeks now just haven't had the time. What are you going to be looking to get out of these? When are they going to be available?

Tony came up with this housing last night, exactly what i was thinking of, he made it to hold his shift light as well.

The original intention of this was to make a gear based boost controller that doesn't require the gps sensor to be removed, i have a feeling it might sell a lot more as just a gear indicator / de-restrictor LOL.

NO clue on price yet, at the moment everything being used is expensive, want to see it all work then try and shop around and figure out how to make it affordable.

I will at some point LOL
is this the same device you were telling me about that will extend the ground time a hair for the 1-2 shift?

Another cool thing would be able to select an RPM per set output, i.e. different shift point per gear. I think that is what you were hinting at.

Anyways, I'll be glad to test it and I will be first in line to buy it even though I don't really need the gear display (the other benefits are freaking awesome).

That would be my upcomging shift light you are referring to, this is totally different.

This setup is meant for guys who want gear based nitrous or boost control activation. It would supply ground outputs (1 per gear) by just plugging into the gps sensor, provide the 1N23455 mod or TRE whatever you want, and also have a gear indicator
